"Must have upgrade if you have an older gen PDW. I had a Gen II. All you need to do is remove the barrel/hop up via the two allen screws underneath the upper receiver, the whole barrel unit will slide out. You can reuse your old front end and just replace the inner barrel and hop-up. The bolt drops right in.

The recoil rod has a brass collar that may be frozen in place from the thread locker used at the front of the recoil rod. In order to free it, just insert the rod into the bolt and give the rod a couple of taps with a soft, blunt object (rubber mallet, etc.) to free the brass collar. Replace the recoil buffer in the lower receiver and you're done.

"Easy install for anyone replacing the closed bolt system in their PDW. Only need to swap over one parts from your old trigger unit, The gurb screw holding in the hopup and the the other two grub screws holding the old barrel in and your good to go.
