"Just got mine, and it's amazing! The blowback is very nice, so is the fps. The gun doesn't take up too much green gas too. But I don't like the diamond grips but they're fine for now.

"Exactly what you would expect in the description. Great metal blowback 1911. Only issue i had with it is that it was hard to get the orange tip off of it because its suppose to be a screw off tip. Tore the orange plastic piece apart thinking it didnt have threads at the end of the barrel. But then after scrapping the last orange pieces out, found out it did indeed have threads. Would have this a 4/5 review if the orange piece didnt come out. Since it did, great gun for a great price.

"I have the entire WE M1911 series and they are VERY good GBB pistols. They are accurate, solid (I've never had a metal failure or other breakage on a WE) and very easy to maintain. This pistol is no exception.

OK, the grips are cheap plastic. There are a LOT of other grips available to replace them and I do that on pretty much all of my 1911s.

My only real complaint is that I want some authenticity and all of my WE 1911s have big, silver "Caspian" markings all over the slide! Anyone have a solution for that?
