"It is a buffer tube that works with the APS threaded buffer receivers AND TM speck receivers! One down side for me was that this is like a barn paint red. Flat red. Not metallic red. So it looks goofy with APS parts that are metallic red. The castle nut is really hard to turn without a wrench. I put some grease on the threads to help me line it up and tighten it down. With a APS QD spring system installed and a long screwdriver you can change the main spring without taking the gearbox out of the receiver! Paint color wasn't a match.

"Pretty sturdy, came with all the hardware to mount it, if only mine was machined properly. Channels cut at the end were inconsistent size (easy fix with dremel or file, didnt put up much of a fight). The ridge inside that the spacer locks onto was too long for the screw so it was just barely touching the receiver threads, meaning i had to sand down the end of the buffer tube just to get the threads to bite. Could've just gone with exchanging it but Im too stubborn and I was determined to get it to work. Doing this on an APS M4 mind you. Might work well for you but I think it's either a factory defect or my own luck haha.
