Modernize the classic Type 89 5.56 rifle used by Japanese self defense forces for that streamlined and high speed look. The 20mm rail on top and MLOK on the sides and bottom of the handguard not only make for a newer look, but also greatly expands the attachments available for your Type 89. The battery space is designed with our GIGA TEC lipo batteries in mind, but can find a wide variety of batteries. Simple installation with no modification to your AEG needed.

Note: Take care when inserting the battery and handguard as forcing it may clip the wires. Be sure not to overtighten the screws, the manufacturer suggests using screw lock adhesives
