The Oakley Elite Assault Boots are built like a tank. The 8" Cordura upper is lightweight so that you can maintain a full range of motion while remaining quick on your feet. The breathable fabric ensures the passage of air while maintaining its abrasion-resistant properties. This AR670-1 & AFI 36-2903 Compliant pair of boots is crafted with a Vibram SPE Midsole that improves resiliency while maintaining durability and providing the signature Oakley footwear cushioning as it minimizes the impact of weight. The Vibram Litebase Outsoles are an expanded feature from the Lightweight Assault boots that drastically reduce weight & thickness of the rubber outsole without sacrificing durability & protection. If you're wondering if these Field Mammoths are going to maintain the signature Oakley Lace-Lock system, don't worry. The quick on-off system features braided, nylon laces that are durable & create a locked-in fit to keep in line with Oakley's superior footwear build.
