SRU M14 Bullpup Kit for M14 Airsoft AEG and GBBR Rifles

"I bought this straight from the SRU website.

Pros:
-Weight management. M14's are notoriously front-heavy, and the bullpup configuration centers the weight to a much more comfortable degree.
-Somewhat easy installation with clear and helpful instructions available digitally.
-Sturdy construction. Can easily take several bumps and bangs and still keep going strong. The material used in the print is also very heat resistant, which is great for the blazing hot Florida summer days. I wouldn't leave it in my car in a 120f heatwave, but out in the air during a game is no problem.
-Looks. Sci-fi gats are always sexy.

Cons:
-Battery space. Very compact and not much wiggle room. Found that butterfly type 7.4v 1300mah lipo's fit best.
-3D printed lines are very obvious. While to some this isn't too big an issue, others might want to take a sander to the gun.
-Compatibility. While it does say that TM-spec and WE-Tech M14's work, only certain styles of them will work. EBR's like mine will not fit without serious modification to the kit. Standard length and standard stock M14's will work the best.

Overall, this is a great and fun kit to use that's almost guaranteed to turn heads at the field.

Good
-Kit was easy to assemble, did it without instructions and did it multiple times.
-Very light weight, M14's are usually front-heavy, so this made the weight extremely manageable. I put a forward grip on to control the weight better, since the rifle is now back heavy.

Meh
-Doesn't tell you on Evike what rifles specifically work for it. I went through three different M14's before I found the one that actually works. Buy a full-length M14 in the standard stock. Not the EBR stock, not the short-length barrel (although the shorter barrel works, you won't be able to fit the last front piece of the kit on without taking the front iron sight off).
-The kit squeezes the M14 in there, so you no longer get the cool sound of the M14 racking. May present problems with GBBR's, but i put an AEG in there.

Bad
-Doesn't look like the pictures on Evike. The material color is inconsistent between the different pieces, gave it a coat of black paint to fix this. The lines from the 3d printing are fairly obvious to anybody holding, touching, or looking at the rifle.
-Build quality is not the best. Dropped it while painting it, piece of the pistol grip broke off. The trigger is very sharp, so it had to be sanded down on the sides. The trigger pull is also very hard, and your battery space is extremely limited.
