"To be honest, I got this because I wanted to try an airsoft sniper, but I didnt want to spend a lot of money. I Found this, the DE M50A, and got it on sale, for $70. I wasnt expecting anything too good really. I looked at the reviews on youtube, and no reviews of it were to be found with a scope. Most of the vids were about 12 years old. I didnt have high hopes for this rifle. It is such an un-assuming, and standard and basic design. Nothing that really makes it stand out. When it first came in, I cleaned it and oiled it like a rifle. I did a dry fire on it, and then I was surprised! This baby is POWERFUL! And yet so silent. I first tested with 0.20 g bb's, HECK NO! You will hurt someone with those, I went up to 0.36g bb's, and this thing can shoot really far and accurate! with 0.36g bb's it chronos out to be 345 fps. (Im using a 3-9x40 scope also from Evike) This baby is like a diamond in the rough! Those stock extensions really help out with finding your perfect scope spot for full sight picture as well! Well done Double Eagle, well done!

"ordered this recently and it works pretty good, the bolt is hard to pull back like with any spring based sniper rifle but seems to be very accurate. my only complaint is I cant seem to remove the trigger mechanism so I can take the bolt out of the rifle for spring replacement, but overall its a very nice, realistic, and accurate rifle
