"What a beast of a rifle! This is so far my favorite platform. I had a few VSR builds, and most recently a SSG96 MKII. I liked the ssg96 but being proprietary had limited it’s potential performance.

Anyway out of the box, this gun is incredible. A few small cons, the cylinder is a bit rough and takes a bit of finagle to put it back smoothly. Also the piston sear has a catch that you have to pull over which gives a slight increase when pulling causing another rough pull.
To overcome these issues, I got the stalker piston kit and cylinder. What a difference with just the weighted piston! The consistency is amazing. It seems rediculous to spend another $150 on top of a $800 gun but it’s worth it.

Also SilverBack has another sear that is flatter, providing an even smoother pullback.

"OK I�m not going to tell you what to do But just listen to what I have to say if you were going to get this rifle then please do some research, thinking that the 22 inch would be the best out of the many options this rifle has in barrel lengths I was incorrect I bought a fast hop which works so much better than the original hop up unit the original hop up unit does give you the most accuracy but not the best at range for your rifle I also grabbed M150 Spring to put in this rifle it made the rifle shoot way too hot with the stock inner barrel I know you could buy a wide Bore barrel and lower the FPS just a small amount but still, so then I went and bought the 16 inch barrel along with a prometheus 407mm wide Bore inner barrel and a short hand guard to turn the rifle into the covert version and I cannot be happier Now I do not have the BB doing a weird wide curve when I shoot the rifle now it shoots straight and I can push the BB out beyond its original range with a stock spring hitting targets up to at least 250 or a little more.

Cons
magazine is a little bit of a pain to get out of the mag well.
If you are buying the 22 inch or longer inner barrels are expensive.
When running low on ammo in the mag you have to turn rifle sideways or upside down to load the next round in.

"So far it seems like a great rifle. I purchased the gen2 as soon as it came out so i wasn't sure what to expect since there were no reviews on the internet. The externals are 1:1 to the real rifle. it looks great and is very sturdy. The price is high yes, but they do not cut corners. The internals are pre-upgraded except for the spring and the barrel is -14mm. Disassembly is very easy as well. it can handle up to m180 with ease, and anything higher there is no need.
