"This was awesome, but has one drawback.

TL:DR - Slightly too T H I C C

I bought this for my CYMA AKS-47 (irl: AKMS) that came with black tactical furniture. The picatinny rails were very sharp, and I had no intention of buying attachments. I ordered these as a replacement and made this:

Pros: The feel is very nice in my hands and the color of the wood is beautiful.

Con: The part of the lower handguard that fits into that piece with the front sling point (what's it called?) is a fraction of an inch too big. The piece does not fit over the handguard and cannot be secured. I'm sure some DIY fix or sandpaper will fix that right away.

This may work better on other guns but I have yet to test it.
