The A-24 Navakha two-section seat combines modern technology with proven design features. It is designed to hold a cushion pad and one or two ballistic inserts, providing protection for the lower back, pelvis, and legs from fragments.

The seat offers three mounting options: on a vest or belt MOLLE platform, or as a traditional seat pad using the waist strap. When used as a traditional pad, it can be folded forward as a compact ambush mat or positioned behind the back for a brief rest.

The standard configuration includes two Isolon foam inserts for comfort and insulation, which can be replaced with ballistic inserts if needed. The smaller lower section can be tucked into the larger upper section, and the waist strap can be adjusted higher or lower for a customized fit. Anchor points are designed to avoid occupying MOLLE slots.
