EMG brings another great gun option to its line of licensed products with the F4 Defense F4-15 Airsoft AEG rifle. All F4-15 AEG rifles come with a machined aluminum receiver and handguard, decked out with high-quality EMG furniture and a 120rd mid-capacity Hex Magazine!

The machined aluminum receiver features distinct F4 Defense trademarks and styling with a matte finish. Ambidextrous 90-degree selector switches adorn the sides of the gun, and an ambidextrous mock charging handle sits at the top. The mock bolt locks back for easy hopup adjustment and can be released forward with the functioning bolt-catch. A rotary-style hopup is mated to a 6.01mm fine-polished inner barrel, giving the gun consistent accuracy and hop performance.

Internally the F4 Defense F4-15 AEG features an 8mm bearing Ver.2 QD gearbox with a built-in Acetech MOSFET trigger board and a high-torque motor.

About the ARS-Lite Rail System:
The F4 Adaptive Rail System Lite (ARS-L) is a purpose-built rail combining the functionality of the M1913 Picatinny rail and the adaptability of Magpuls MLOK system. The ARS-Lite handguard features both, maintaining a seamless low profile and versatile configuration at the first 5 inches of the rail. The middle of the rail is MLOK only. We designed this feature to lower weight and place the MLOK only section in the area of the rail that does not typically field attachments. Our Patent Pending MLOK and Picatinny Adaptive Rail System (ARS) is directly integrated into the extruded profile of the rail, rather than a bulky quad rail configuration; built into the forward end of the rail that typically fields all attachments. No more adapter rails; accessories are attached directly to the rail. Strategic machining allows for maximum venting, air flow, and weight reduction while maintaining the structural integrity to maintain accuracy and repeatability. The barrel nut attachment system is the most user-friendly and effective system on the market. This modular system allows the flexibility to configure the rail based on the end-users individual preferences.

"I have the tan carbine varient

Pros
- great externals
- great internals
- accurate
- lots of rail space

Cons
- shoots hard out of the box 1.42J
- small battery space (you will need a stick type battery.)
-mag well is tight

I grabbed some lonex mid caps for this. They feed great but are very tight. I would just buy the emg mid caps if you don't already have m4 mags

"This gun was my starter gun but now I let my friends use it when I take them to the field. One thing that I love about the gun is how light it is but I do have one con about it and that is that the upper and lower receiver wobbles. Other than that it is a solid gun I do recommend it.

"Overall fantastic gun, looks great and is very study. I have a few other AR-15 platforms from various manufacturers and they all have a bit of wobble in the magazine, but this one doesn't. The included hex mag not only looks sick but it fits incredibly well, snug without being tight.

A word of caution to anyone who buys the PDW-X, like I did- if you intend to attach a suppressor, tracer unit, or amplifier, make sure that the diameter is 30mm or LESS. I bought the Angel Custom Hornet suppressor (with the hex pattern, to go with the magazine), and it's 35.5mm in diameter and is too large to sit fully inside the rail system. I had to buy a Magpul 14mm- thread extension, the 2 inch length so it would fit properly. Just something to be aware of, but overall this gun is amazing!
