"I have the 4 pistol box for 25$.

Box is "just tough enough" that I'd trust it for storage. I wouldn't trust it for any serious transportation or anything demanding. The hinges are plastic and you can easily feel the cover get displaced from anything that puts some pressure on the foam (green gas canister for instance.) While it latches fine with that without issues, I don't trust it to take abuse. I expect the hinges to break if put any significant stress on them. I treat the crate with some degree of care, though I feel like these kinds of boxes shoulder tougher.

For the money and size and foam, it's alright and decent value for airsoft stuff.

I've been able to jam 2 pistols, 5-7 mags, 2 speed loaders, and a gas canister. Anything that has a good deal of 3 dimensional height is gonna be harder to jam in, but you can put a lot more mags and loaders inside without issue. For pistols, loaders, mags, you can definitely 4 pistols, lots of mags, and loaders.

Foam is 4 layers, composed of the two top layers being eggshells flat foam on the bottom layers. Lots of room for two dimensional things.
