ARCTURUS Vanguard 4.3" Airsoft Hi-Capa Gas Blowback Pistol

"I took the chance on this pistol and got the comped variant. It came in a box that has quite a bit of spare parts and the replica came with a nice red anodized thread adapter... but not with the comp installed.
It took heat and a wrench to get the adapter off and the comp fits with a plug that screws into the barrel, but they didnt include the big allen key you need for it. I think its a 14 or 16mm allen key, its not something people usually have. I managed to tighten it enough to have it on but it feels like the guide rod isnt long enough to stop the comp from twisting in place.. Im hoping when I get a bigger allen wrench I can tighten it enough to stop it from moving.

The fit is good with minimal wobble, though theres that slight scratchy sound when you rack the slide back.
The finish is a bit meh on the grip itself. The stippling has sharp edges around the area that should have been rounded or chamfered and the back of the grip has this random round bit of plastic where the typical triangle serrations are. Maybe a manufacturing defect?

I havent tested the accuracy or range yet but its quite snappy and likes typical TM hi-cappa mags. Its interchangeable with my AA Staccato.

Though I do think I like my staccato more. It feels just a bit more refined.

"Feels good, nice finish and material selection.

Inconsistent gas output even after installing a nine ball gas router. Most likely the output valve or less likely a hammer spring issue. The bbu seems to have a good seal as does the nozzle and cut off valve.

It is very disappointing to have a normal kick, a hard kick followed by 2-3 obviously weaker shots and then back to normal or high output again.

The output valves look to be different spec than standard tm valves but i didn't do a side by side yet

It should also be mentioned i immediately put in the harder recoil spring and have not tested the gun with the standard spring at all
