EMG "Hurricane" Adjustable Brushless Motor (Model: Long Type / 24k-39k RPM)

"I've been running this regularly with a gen3 Lancer gear box/mosfet. Runs flawlessly on semi auto... snappy, quiet. Love it. Full auto gives me a few bursts before the mosfet gets angry and shuts it down. I run DMR so this is not a problem for me, but keep it in mind if you're looking to run full auto.

"This is by far the best motor on the market for its price. awesome for any and all high speed builds. I just wish there was a short type motor for my AK builds.

"This is the apex of motors. I have one inside my EMG as well as a VFC and it boosted performance significantly. If you can, get your hands on 1 or 50.

"I recently upgraded to the EMG Hurricane Adjustable Brushless Motor and I’m seriously impressed. Right out of the box, it feels super solid. Holding it, you immediately get the feel that it's a high end product. I installed it in my G&G SR15 AEG and paired it with a Gate Titan, and the performance is next level. Trigger response is fast, the motor runs quietly, and it stayed cool even during long bursts with an 11.1v LiPo. The adjustable RPM feature is a huge plus I tuned mine to around 32 RPS and it hasn’t missed a beat. What really surprised me is how much value you get for the price. I'm not sure what more you could ask for in an AEG motor. The install was straightforward and it even comes with a small screwdriver to adjust the RPM dial. Honestly, this is probably the best upgrade I’ve done to my AEG. Highly recommend if you're looking for power, efficiency, and customization all in one package. Just wish it had a short type option.

"Absolutely Phenomenal Performance

I bought this cause I wanted a brushless and man does this thing cook.

Installed in my M4, using .28s and an Gate Aster and it's sooo amazing.
Trigger response and follow up shots have felt more rewarding and messing with the RPM was interesting and definitely worth the trail and error getting it how I need it to be.
I switched between a 7.4 and 11.1 Ion batteries and the only difference is trigger pull but not by a lot, and that being very picky.
Its better to adjust the RPM in small increments to find that sweet spot.

Please please please come out with a Short type so I can put it in my Vector.
Definitely a great buy and will be getting another for my Krytac LVOA!!!!

"Unironically the best motor on the market for the price, comparing to brands like warhead you are saving almost 50 dollars to get an arguably better motor. Torque is good, RPMs are very good and adjustable. Gun has been running great and quietly too.

Only complaint is that there are no EMG short or slim motors as of this review, but keeping an eye out to see if they release one. Hoping to see more good brushless motors without the brand name upcharge.

"This Brushless Motor is fantastic and is comparatively the MOST affordable out of all other competitors (Model: Hurricane 24K-39K; May 2025).

Result: 32 RPS w/ M120 Spring
Parameters: 13:1 Gears, 11.1v Lipo, Gate Titan Advance, NOT Short-Stroked

I haven't had this motor for long (1 week), and I have more tests that I want to try with it, but so far, the performance is significantly better than any brushed motor that I've used. I honestly got this motor mostly for the Low Heat Build Up and High Torque. I have not tried to adjust the RPM, but out-of-the-box the RPM was already set to 39K.

If all goes well, I'll definitely buy a lot more, especially if they make a "short type" version.

***PLEASE EMG, make a "short type" version.

"Seems to have stronger torque than other brushless motors I've used. I paired this with rocket 13:1s and runs quite cool despite the higher stress setup. I was having feeding issues with the motor set to max RPM, but thanks to the adjustable RPM, all it took to fix my feeding issues was turning down my motor speed. Set it to about halfway (32k maybe?) and it's feeding just fine.

Highly recommend, super versatile upgrade part for the price.
