The X-Comp line of muzzle devices were originally designed for the CZ Scorpion which uses M18x1 RH thread pitch. We wanted to create a new standard of flexibility so that these muzzle devices could be used with platforms using 9mm, .223 Remington, 5.56mm NATO, .308 Winchester, 7.62mm NATO.
No longer will you have to commit to a specific barrel or build when shopping for a muzzle device. You can us this adapter sleeve and convert common thread pitches like 1/2"x28, 5/8x24, and even the less common SIG SAUER® MPX M13.5x1 LH to use a Strike X-Comp muzzle device or any muzzle device that has a M18x1 RH thread pitch for that matter.
With our thread adapters, no bulk or length is added to your threaded barrel either. The Strike X-Comp Adapter Kit comes with all the parts and tools you need to convert your muzzle device for use with multiple types of barrel thread pitch.
