"This is one of the first grenades I ever bought… and I got to say this is one of the best purchases ever!!! I took this to my field and did some test and it’s super durable I was throwing it across our field and even at some of the bunkers!!! And can’t beat the price!! So if you’re in the market for a grenade but don’t want to spend a lot of money… this is the grenade to get!!!
Pro’s
- super durable (almost insane how durable it is)
- it’s very affordable
- and probably with lighter BBs it could reach about 20 ft
Cons
- not much range with heavier BBs(but it’s an easy fix)
Definitely gonna buy some more!!!

"So do you remember The Simpsons episode where Bart sells his soul to Milhouse for $5, and uses the $5 to buy those little dinosaur sponges that are supposed to grow huge when you get them wet? While he imagines them growing 100x and scaring the crud out of Lisa, when he sprays them with water, they bulge a little bit and then just float away?
Well, that's these grenades. If you purchase these with a child-like innocence as I did, you might set yourself up to be disappointed. If however, you watch a couple YouTube reviews first, you'll get a better idea of how well these work. Blast radius is, uh, lacking. I tried .12g BBs.
That said, it seems well made, is easy enough to operate, looks cool in your kit. Haven't used it in a game, but I will try to find an opportunity, though with the maraca sounds, it might not be worth carrying.
But hey! That Simpsons episode came out in the mid '90s, so adjusted for inflation, these are cheaper than the dinosaur sponges Bart sold his soul for!
So if you're still on the fence, add one to your next order, maybe it'll work better for you and it's at least a fun bauble.

"I bought a couple of these bc they're like $7, so if they're not the best it's whatever
When I got them, they felt surprisingly hefty and the polymer seems durable. I wouldn't feel super comfortable chucking them against something hard, but I'm not too worried about them breaking otherwise. After some testing, the spread is pretty lackluster, but such is the case with spring powered grenades. I have noticed that around half the time, one of the spring loaded "paddles" would get a few bb's stuck in the hinge, jamming that paddle so it didn't spring open all the way. Also, minor gripe but they ship with a cheap paper sticker label on them that's a real pain to get off
Pros
- Super affordable
- Surprisingly durable (especially for the price)
- Not the end of the world if it breaks or gets stolen
Cons
- Inconsistent and relatively small spread
- Jams up quite a bit
- The loading plug on the bottom is super tight on all four I got (I ended up using plyers to open them the first few times)

"Bought two a couple days ago and I was really excited to use them. Tested them out on my own yard and they seemed promising. The grenades exploded on impact and had decent range (1ft-5ft max with 0.20g). It’s a different story when I actually went to the field. When throwing they would explode midair causing it to not go far at all while bbs sprayed me. Couldn’t have one successful attempt while playing . I think it’s because at my place I did a easy under the shoulder toss which not made it explode midair vs when actually playing I tossed over my shoulder with more force causing it to explode mid air. So take note to probably toss under the shoulder or toss easy so it won’t explode mid air.
Pros:
-Nice feel
-Realistic pin work
-Nice explosion range radius (1ft-5ft)
-Spring powered
-Reusable multiple times
Cons:
-Would explode mid air when tossed/thrown hard
-One grenade actually broke on impact ( on concrete floors)
-Resembling takes getting used too
-pin was loose which made some accidental but funny discharges
Overall for the price you can’t beat it. Just with me I had quite the problem of them exploding mid air and then not making to where I wanted to throw them to. So that’s why I am giving it 3/5 stars. Good grenade but with my experience that’s why 3/5 stars
