"Excellent replica. I build snipers and i roll with the famous mk23. 5 years later it broke. I had a spare. But now my spare is the primary. So i looked for a new back up. This thing is all metal. It hops .45s. Seems very reliable. Its CO2, its a lot louder than the mk23. No real way to quiet it down without reducing the hammer spring. Holds less bbs than the mk23. It is half the size of the mk23 and seems to be very robust. Excellent back up side arm.
"In all fairness I did not buy this on evike.
I got it at a local store as it surprised me with the price first what a cool looking springer ? $120. ??
What ?
Ics???
Sholy mokes man, c02????
Ok I’ll bite , been looking for a quiet dependable back up .
If it’s $@&$%^} I’ll take it back .
So along with buying the kythera I grabbed this pistol.
Now that aside .
Based on my intentions, to have a quiet dependable backup, I’m astonished!
Stop!!!! This is not your primary side arm ( unless your really good , and can hit stuff on purpose, like 13 shots 13 hits )
To Cary you through the game .
It’s the one that’s gonna hide out and be used in the corners and shadows , the one you will feel ( had my son shoot me in the tum , ouch) , and is dead on with the sights .
Throws .36’s flat , out to about 30-40 yards. ( hop is touchy !!, and if adjusted excessively like a 1/8 turn past perfect might pinch and slow immensely, just go slow .
Also , this little guy shoots flat when you pull the hammer manually, but when you use the trigger it for some reason adds quite a bit of hop (makes the .36’s swoop like .20’s ),
This is out past 12-15 yards Every thing inside that range is pretty much dead on by the sights .
Use lock tight on hop screw ! ( my recommendation, not that of evike.)
P.s. as I said before, I did not buy it at evike, but did pick up 2 mags , and intend to get another for my son and a handful of mags as soon as I can afford it .
I’ve been plinking with it for 5 days now and have dumped 15-20 mags a day using only one c02 each day .
By morning the mag is either too cool or drains out a bit over night and it shoots a little limp , and odly increases hop ( to much hop not enough velocity??? Haven’t done the math!)
So I’ve been changing it out each morning draining off the last bit in the canister using the handy bleed off system, and change it out .
This morning I decided to run it out with bbs instead of just bleed off .
Dumped 5&1/2 mags so even when it’s getting low you still have about 68 shots to get to a safe place to change out your c02 .
Yes that’s an everything else is down , just you and me now little buddy moment, but this guy ( so far) I think will be a dependable addition to my airsoft arsenal!
Again I didn’t buy mine at evike this time but will be buying my next one here soon and I really think if your a marksman or sniper that needs a good back up , I say buy it now and maybe a handful of mags !( your gonna like it )
No no no
No blowback
No slide function
Not quiet ( we’ll kinda , but the barrel extension is exactly that . A threaded( both cw and ccw ) barrel extension, made up of two caps and 2 cylinders, caps being the threaded end caps for extension ( for sure the orange end is standard thread cw and is glued closed very efficiently!)
The two cylinders are the housing and a highly polished polymer of some sort inner barrel .( I know this because I was determined, your going to need to be too to open your extension)
I have a handful of hi caps pistols , not a huge huge fan , I love them but they have left me with plops when I needed a pow , this thing seems like it’s not gonna treat me that way .
And with the determination I put into mine your not gonna hear the pow !!!
One more and so far in my opinion the only con ( yes , so far I’m not counting price as a con ) is that the exchangeable threaded tip has one tiny Philips head screw ( that is clogged with glue and soft ) holding it in place.
Again my recommendation not that of evike is that you upon removal of screw before installation of threaded end put some epoxy in the seat and adhere it permanently as after the last 5 days of use and continual in and out fitting and building a custom drop leg holster it does have a little wobble ( not shot inhibiting, but a wobble )
And if you got this for the same reasons I did than your never taking the threaded end off anyway.
I say buy a couple , I’m gonna !
