"Does not smoothly insert into the mag well (VFC G17gen5). The odd raised shoulder towards the top of the mag hangs up on the mag catch while inserting, and also because of that raised shoulder(not smoothly tapered towards the top like the factory mag), it is tight in the mag well and the mag will not drop freely.
Also leaked badly through the base plate when I first filled it with gas. I removed the base plate and found the gasket dry. I greased up the base plate and gasket with thick silicone grease, and also greased the screw gasket, and everything was good from there.
Mag also sits deep in the pistol which puts pressure up on the nozzle.
This mag did give me the highest fps(354 w/.20) I ever got from this gun

Because of the unusual shoulder towards the top of the mag, and resulting tightness in the mag well, I couldn’t recommend this mag for a VFC 5th gen G17.
It does however work great in my son’s AAP-01. Smooth insertion and drops free.
It might fit/work in other generations or brands of Glocks, but I wouldn’t know. Gotta try it at the store or just chance it.
