"No info on weight, anywhere. Not on slong and not on evike, so I figured I would bite the bullet and hope it would be heavier than the stock buffer extension to add more recoil to the mws m4. After all it is made of steel...

Nope.

It's exactly the same weight as a stock one at 28 grams.

Honestly I don't see why this would be made as an upgrade part when it's exactly the same weight as the original, offering nothing to the table. Would I have known the weight I would not have bought this, so I wasted 9 dollars plus shipping. Heed my warning, this is not the buffer extension upgrade you're looking for.
