" I ordered a black MDR-X and received it recently. Box states it is a V2 and it seems to have all the V2 parts. The rifle is cool looking. The balance is rear heavy, which is okay. Does not have a built in front sight like an M4 does. Not a big deal if you are going with a red dot, but if you wanted to use iron sights there is an added expense of buying a front sight in addition to a rear sight. The extra large barrel covers sold by Evike fit over the front but anything smaller does not.
