Arcturus 8mm Standard Switch Spec Version 3 Stripped Gearbox Shell w/ Bearings

Is it as strong as a cnc billet shell?
No.
Does it need to be?
Also no.

My build in this shell is
.shs 13:1s 12 tooth sector gear.
.zci piston/head/cylinder/nozzle
.shs cylinder head
.Perun hybrid v3
.T238 brushless motor.

The only tolerance issue i ran into was Shs pistons like the swiss cheesed 15t and 14t are too tight in the rails, and dont slide freely For the price this can be overlooked.

"Very nice quality gearbox overall for Version 3 AK's. If you're doing a swap to get rid of the dreaded crunchy micro-switch Arcturus AK gearbox, this is the one to get to install a standard AEG switch. However, it's not a 'drop in' replacement; some of the parts from the Arcturus micro-switch version gearbox don't fit quite right, such as the selector plate and cut off lever. I also had to shave a tiny bit to fit the V3 switch, just a pass with a utility knife, no big deal. I've got the cut off and selector working, but will be replacing to get smoother movement. Other than these small issues, it's a great replacement to get rid of the micro-switch, and will work well in other V3 AK's that are standard TM spec.
