SIG Sauer AIR R5 MRD Mini Red Dot Sight

"Solid no frills RDS of good quality. Takes an AAA battery, unsure of battery life. As another reviewer said, the light is fairly dim in bright sunlight. It's still visible to me, but less than ideal. The auto brightness setting (reminder that there is a manual option) isn't very useful IMO as the range of brightness goes pretty quickly from max to minimum - minimum is pretty dim and hard to even tell is on if there's ambient light.

If you're looking for a reasonably reliable, easy to use RDS of good quality, this is a good first bet.

"Bought this sight a couple months ago and these are my thoughts on it. The sight itself is great quality and a very nice small dot sight with a crisp dot. My only complaint which is the reason that I don’t use the sight anymore is it’s too dull. The highest brightness is not bright enough for bright clear weather or desert environment. This sight is great indoors and in dimmer environments but in full sun you can’t see the sight at all. The brightness is just not there. Great indoor sight though.
