"I wear this mask for CQB and Outdoor fields; I haven't found a better option in the four years I have owned this mask.

I will admit you will feel direct hits to the nose, but I have not had welts, broken skin, or a bloody nose from shots within 2 meters.

Hits on the fabric will leave faint welts, significantly fainter than not having protection at all. You know how your skin handles healing.

The mask is thin enough to allow proper cheek-welds and have microphones close enough to my mouth to avoid excessive yelling.

The over the ear straps will get uncomfortable around the 8 hour mark, but you can always readjust how the straps secure the mask.

Having a cloth mask with a rubber insert makes washing the mask very easy; I toss the fabric in with my fatigues and hand wash the insert with soap and warm water.

"feels comfortable yet secure, doesn't feel bulky at all. even the L/XL feels a bit on the small side, I do have a bit of a big mouth though, but shouldn't move out of place even if you're opening your mouth wide and shouldn't interfere with eyepro at all

"Wore one of these to an indoor field and got shot point blank in the mouth, All I felt was a slight thump. Wish there was better cheek coverage but super comfortable and allows for a very tight cheek weld.
