"Looks are a 5/5 but feel is more like a 3.5/5. It doesn't screem quality when holding it. It's missing a bit of refinement. It's like there was a final step in the production process where edges are to be filed down to give everything a smooth feel, but that step was skipped. Every edge on this this is sort of sharp. The plastic is sort of thin. The release mechanism for the butt pad doesn't inspire a ton of confidence and doesn't seem very intuitive when re-attaching. That being said, I don't expect this thing to fall apart or anything.

My opinions may be extra critical because I overpaid. I chose the option with the added buffer tube. Don't do that. It already comes with a buffer tube, so now I have an extra buffer tube for no reason. It'd be nice if this information was available on the product page.

"These are good stocks. Good snug fit and c'mon...these look badass!!...that being said, these are'nt for all style of batteries. If your buffer has room for a 7.4 or 11.1 "stick" then these work well. But, nunchuck/butterfly style will be almost impossible.

"3/5. The stock is a good design, but the screws/bolts on the buttpad are made of an extremely soft metal, so they stripped almost instantly. Otherwise, I don't know how to access the inside of the stock since there is no instruction manual.

"Not for 11.1 v Li-on or Li-po nun chuck style batteries.

I ordered this stock because for the price it looks amazing and comes with a wire pull buffer tube. I received it, and first off, I could not figure out how to get the butt pad off. There were no instructions in the box. I read the description online and figured out that the EMG logo on the butt pad is the release button. After removing the butt pad, I tried to fit a three leg 1400mah and 1200mah Turnigy Airsoft 11.1 Li-po battery in the stock, and the two side compartments are barely long enough to house the battery legs. There is literally 3/16" to try to tuck the wires for each leg in the side compartments. Furthermore, unless you feel like trimming back wires and re-soldering the connector on your battery there is no room to tuck the wire for the battery connector as the butt pad is designed to fit flush with the stock and the release mechanism actually extends into the stock, so I was worried about breaking wires on my battery. I also tried a 3000mah Li-on 11.1 nun chuck battery and the side compartments are not large enough to house the second leg of the battery.

Also, the provided buffer tube mounting screw was too short for the style of buffer tube that was in the box. The screw is for a short style receiver buffer tube mounting lug and the provided buffer tube is for a long type receiver mounting lug.

If you plan on running a single stick battery this stock looks and feels great and fits the provided buffer tube pretty tightly. I don't own any stick type Li-po batteries and like to use higher MAH batteries to provide more shots. You might have to use another buffer tube as well depending on what kind of receiver that you use. You might need a longer mounting screw for the buffer tube also, depending on what is sent in the box.
