"Used this to replace the broken outer barrel for my AKX. It fit perfectly! Stock inner barrel for the AKX sticks out just barely in the 6.5" outer barrel. My only recommendation is to use blue loctite on your screws!

"Purchased 6.5" SLR kit

I used this to replace the outer barrel and handguard for my AKX because the threads were broken off the original outer barrel before I owned it. The parts for seamlessly onto the AKX components. When all screws are tightened down there is no rattle!

I used the original inner barrel and bolt and have no issues. The inner barrel of the AKX pokes out just slightly from the end of this kit.

Definitely recommend blue loctite on your screws so they don't shake loose over time.
