Hey, first off I would like to say that Evike shipped this gun quite quickly, even considering that it was in transit during Thanksgiving. It came here quicker than originally thought, which is awesome.
I opened up the package... And found everything I ever wanted out of this order, plus more. I did buy the 5$ 2 mag holy cow special, but it seemed they threw in ONE more mag (after the 2 metal 250 rd hi-caps) and that was an awesome find, so I got 4 mags in total with the shipment. All the parts seemed made of metal, except for the grip, handguard, and stock.
Everything about the gun was perfectly fine, until I tried to put the battery in. Apparently the butt plate was locked on TOO well, and I had to pry it open with a screwdriver, and then I proceeded to sand down some little nubs that stick out on the locking mechanism of the butt plate, and also sanded down another little part on were you slide the butt plate back on. This fixed the problem. And all is well again.
It was hardly a deal at all, so it didn't make me take off a star, so maybe a 4.99 out of 5. :) Thanks Evike for your awesomeness once more.
And also, if you want to get a good battery, check in the custom batteries section and look for the 2300 mAh (It will fit the PEW Box, M$, AK and AUG guns) It is supposedly the largest you can get for this kind of AK stock.
I would totally recommend this gun, it is just another solid, well-done gun by G&G. | |
