" So sadly after 4 years of hard and brutal airsofting, the mosfet has burnt out. this is my second mosfet in the 4 years for both of my matrix sportline models. First mosfet was on my Matrix M16 build that is still going strong but now my Matrix mk18 build is burnt out. l run 11.1v lipos with 25c to EC3 connecters. The stock internals have no issues, never had anything break. Just wish the life span was longer, dont want to use 7.2v or 9.6v. the 11.1v has everything the crisp trigger and fire rate. This mosfets are rated for 11.1v lipos but l thing the high speed motor is generating to much heat and could be the cause. l am going to swap it out for a balanced motor. The M16 has the matrix godzilla high torque motor and that mosfet was on me. l accidentally plugged in a 14.4v lipo. The MK18 has the matrix godzilla high speed motor and l thing its yo much load on the mosfet. l know a lot of info but maybe this will help someone with a build or learn from my mistakes.
