A&K M60 Airsoft AEG Machine Gun
(Model: Mk43 / M60E4)

"I have not fielded the gun yet, but got it from the 2024 Black Friday Box of Awesomeness. (M60 was open-box and was in really, really rooooooouuuuuuugh condition, gun showed previous signs of use/handling, but maybe not field use.)

Overall fired well out of the box, solid full-metal construction, extremely heavy weight (around 20lbs with a fully loaded mag), and has the cool factor of being a unique replica.

I believe there are issues with this gun that have been around since it was released.
1) Bipod good however I have read that excessive use may cause sheering of pins, and you may need to replace it.
2) Adjustable ROF needs to be bridged with included part. Supposedly overly adjusting the ROF selector one way or the other can break it.
3) Magazine carrying box needs retro-fitting to allow proper feed of BBs through side grommet into the gun. As it comes, you have to feed the BBs over the box and into the side which can kink the feed and cause a slower rate of fire/misfires.
4) Default spring mine came with is shooting at like 410+ FPS. The box was marked as having the M120 spring, which would give that performance.
5) Battery connector is small Tamiya, an older connector, and should be upgraded to Deans for better longevity. Your battery not only operates the rifle, but also your automated winding box mag, so make sure to have something with a lot of MaH for long games.

If not for randomly winning this gun, I would've never bought it just due to weight, size, and age of the platform, but the absolute uniqueness, weight, and quality make it something worth keeping if you have the space and time to mod it, and the arm strength to field it.

"OK, short & to the point! This is a up-date review from-04/28/2023, I had said I had a jam in mine because I wasn't sure how to set the switch on the box mag. This was because I did not get a user manual so I followed some on-line vids. All you can do is before you screw on that conduit to the gun, try the switch in the different positions, and when it starts feeding and the mag is winding AND it stops when you release the trigger YOU ARE THERE where you want to be!!!!!!!!!!!! What I didn't say in the first review is when they fixed it I also had them(with it apart) do it to it on the gearbox. Total up-grade job the best of parts and now it's doing 500 FPS. That was $301.00 to the gearbox, I love my PIG!!!!!!!!! You want the correct flash suppressor this makes the gun-only $30. Another thing I did was get the new A&K 2500rd electric auto wind mag. When they rebuilt the gearbox they put in that by-pass(funny looking plug) so now the ROF switch no longer works! Now there's only one ROF -it kicks ASS for sure-it will keep heads down. Not field legal I'm sure! After the up-grade I'm using an 11.1volt Li-Ion battery, Quite a GUN! This is A SUPERB REPLICA! Hope this clears some things up for M60 Gunners down the road!!! HOORAH! TDB

"This is an outstanding gun for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did not buy mine from EVIKE, BUT I want to save someone some hassel. Make sure you keep the 3 position switch on the mag set to off for normal operation! When you pull the trigger the mag starts winding feeding the BB'S! I put mine to AUTO-thinking auto fire, no good for sure! I'm getting my jammed gear box fixed as we speak. The MOSFETT , ROF control is great, SUPER for the rifle! Full metal great replica no dought!!!!! ADD this one to your collection for sure!!! HOORAH TDB I did not get a user manual with mine, get a great PDF copy on line if you don't get one. Don't forget to get the proper flash surpresser, the bird cage looks like hell!!!!!!!!
