CNC Threaded Muzzle Adapter for ASR MB-06 Type 96 APS Sniper Rifle Series (14mm negative)

The Airsoft ASR Sniper Rifle Barrel Extension Adapter is made exclusively for the ASR which features a barrel with 14mm CCW threads. It allows you to attach your favorite barrel extension easily. It is made out of metal for a more serious feel and appearance.

This thread adapter will fit on the end of most L96 based airsoft sniper rifles. I think the Tokyo Marui MK96 has an entirely separate adapter though. Regardless, I had a hard time at first because it was difficult to screw it on super tight on the end of the barrel. Sometimes it would come off with the suppressor/other barrel extension.

My advice is if you have this problem, you can use a knife to screw it on extremely tightly. Same can be done if you want to unscrew it.

Pros:

Does what is necessary, allows the barrel extension to fit

Cons:

Hard to keep on the end of the barrel if not screwed on tightly, my personal experience was that it hurt my fingers to screw it on tightly.

Works great!!!

I put it on my UTG MK96 and it screws right on. Great if you have a longer inner barrel and want to put an outer barrel extension over it. (Because that's what it's for)

Pros:
Works great
Enables you to put a mock silencer/barrel extension
My MK96 looks LEGIT with a barrel extension
Barrel makes gun longer (I'm 5'9 and it comes up to my chin. I have a 7'" barrel extension)

Cons:
none!
