The Trident MK2 PDW is the most compact rifle in the series and is designed for maximum maneuverability and control, in close quarters combat. The full metal AEG features a short 5.5 barrel and a 5 free floating, DEFIANCE TR105, keymod hand guard. The DEFIANCE hand guard features three prongs at the front that can be used to brace the gun against barricades, eliminating the need for an aftermarket barricade stop rail accessory. The MK2 aluminum receivers feature a modern design style with a stamped KRYTAC logo and include an integrated trigger guard. An originally designed DEFIANCE pistol grip enhances the rifles comfort. Additional features include an ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed. The futuristic KRYTAC sliding stock is adjustable to two positions and is supported by the enhanced KRYTAC buffer tube to allow space for a wider range of batteries. The PDW utilizes AR/M4 style magazines and sports similar controls for those familiar with the platform. In addition to looking futuristic and functional, the PDW is also a fantastic performer thanks to its gearbox.
Internally, the Trident MK2 PDW features a reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate electronic signals and to protect the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90 angle, to prevent fracture. Also, the gearbox shell features a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston, this window is also convenient for inspecting the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston is made of a durable, lightweight, polymer and features 4 metal teeth, with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The Cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy form the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears have been especially formulated to be very strong, Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the KRYTAC high torque motor, capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded.

About Krytac / KRISS USA

The KRYTAC team is comprised of highly experienced professionals who have come together for one common goal, to elevate your expectation of performance, value, and service. (Write a review) "Let me tell you, after two long sessions in outdoor cqb settings, the Krytac Trident PDW worked really well. The durability of the rifle is solid and so is the accuracy. BBs fed very well. The size of the adjustable stock is great when pulled out. The great thing about m4s in general is how compatible they are. My only real issue with the gun is getting to the battery, since you need an Allen wrench to get to it.
I suggest using a 11.1v 1100mAh Lipo and Krytac midcaps. "I HIGHLY recommend this gun. I've had this for about 3 year now and it has no problems.
Although the battery compartment is quite small, this problem can be easily remedied by getting this: https://www.evike.com/products/90991/
Its not that heavy even though is full metal.
Accurate and great for CQB but it still has good range.
This is a must buy/ "*LONG REVIEW*
Alright I'm am gonna lead this with a I got a "pick of the litter" gun because mine came out of the box chronoing 387 average fps, and 30rps with an 11.1 Lipo. Also this thing honestly sounds shortstroked from the get go, and is as loud as a .22 or 410 real steal gun. This is a pro for me because of the added realism. The battery space is absolutely minimal. Fits just perfectly my elite force brick/stick 11.1 900maH lipo, but zero room for anything larger.
For those wondering how to remove the stock orange blazen tip for the included black identical metal flash hider for realism, you must remove the rail first, otherwise you will scratch your fresh paint. It is a simple process, and does not require a tech. 2 allen keys on the bottom of the rail, remove those. Slide rail off. Keep hold of black spacer that falls free. It needs replaced back to where it was when reassembling. Use a heatgun/hairdryer to heat up the orange tip to loosen the glue. Then with pliers grab and twist in a righty tighty motion to take it off. don't do the boiling water method. It introduces water into your gun. Reattach spacer, slide rail on, replace 2 allen screws until hand tightened, and screw your new flash hider/mock suppressor onto the now exposed threads in a lefty loosey manner. This is a reversed thread. Or negative 14mm in other words. Negative the direction. 14mm the size.
Anyway, I hope that helps. I was seriously adamant about the buy, but being my teammate has a 4crs, and another has a VFC Avalon, I can truthfully say this 305.00USD 10 Mag Bundle will be the best out of the box loadout for the money. And don't let small fool you. It is a lazer beam. I am dropping 100-130ft shots full stock with a spread of 1" or less on sandbags pullstring style., and I haven't even installed the miracle barrel, or the m130 spring yet I ordered with it. I feel like dutchthehooligan, and his umbrella corps firepower with this thing. The reviews on youtube just do not do it justice. Thing seeing your favorite musician on youtube vs live. Literally that huge a difference. So take their noise, and calmness to it with a grain of salt. It feels like a realsim GBB weapon.
All in all, MY gun was worth every single penny, and if you got 400 bucks to burn hit me up, and I'll get you set up on the best buy for load out, and future upgrades on the gun to hit the field as soon as you open the mail. Cheers my friends! Krytac, this thing is a beauty, and I can't wait to get that statrak counter up on this bad boy! Read More Reviews Write a Review
