The M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle (IAR) is a lightweight, magazine-fed 5.56mm weapon used by the United States Marine Corps. It is intended to enhance an automatic rifleman's maneuverability and displacement speed, and it is based on the HK416. The Elite Force H&K M27 IAR by VFC replicates many of the details of the real-steel firearm including the lever on the charging handle, the flip-up iron sights, and of course the fully licensed H&K Trademarks.

The VFC Avalon gearbox is an improved Tokyo Marui Spec Ver2 with low friction high quality steel bearings, built-in MOSFET, and quick change spring system; driving the gearbox is a high torque neodymium magnet motor.

"An excellent gun I've had for almost five years at this point, the body is incredibly well built and will last quite a while. If you're looking for a higher-end gun to maintain and keep around for quite a while this one will do. The only complaints I have are the stock and how picky it is with mags. The stock was easy enough to switch out and get more battery room, I did it and I suck at teching. Mag's are a bit tricky but not impossible to find. Worth the investment.

"Best gun to ever have, shoots fast, shoots straight and aesthetically pleasing. my only issue is that its a bit heavier than most rifles even full metal, and the stock all i can say is "chonk". But you can adapt to the weight and change the stock any day.

"Awesome system. If you plan on replacing the inner barrel, the info listed here is incorrect. Its actually a 420-425mm inner barrel. 363mm is way to short. Trust me. I then measured and sure enough it 420+.
