Matrix Mosin Nagant M1891 "Obrez" CO2 Powered Bolt Action Airsoft Rifle

"Very good price for what you get. Build quality seems to be pretty good, haven't run a magnet over everything but everything certainly looks good and functions well.

I had heard about the Win Gun fake wood on their full sized Mosin being quite high quality but had yet to see it in person. In the case of this gun it is very high quality. It has an actual grain pattern to it so it feels a lot like wood and even up close it looks a heck of a lot like wood. Ill put it like this, its fake wood you can be proud of and that's one heck of an accomplishment. This is coming from someone who ALWAYS goes with the real wood options for guns I get. Seriously though if the fake wood is what you are hung up on, trust me its good.

The bolt action is quite enjoyable as well and is very smooth, beats the heck out of spring powered bolt actions that's for sure! By the time they are done chambering the next round, you will have already gotten off five shots! The actual body of the gun technically has enough of a stock that you can get a sort of half cheek weld on it which is nice. Meanwhile the rest of the gun is compact enough that you should be able to get into much more cheeky positions than other snipers. The bolt will also lock back like a real Mosin in order to put it on safe.

Speaking of sniping, I have yet to do a proper accuracy test beyond shooting at a box in my basement, although given the length of the barrel you should in theory have as much accuracy as any other sniper. Or so I have been lead to believe. Once I get some spare clips I will do some proper field testing of this bad boy!

Speaking of clips...or uhhh would they be magazines in this case? They are expensive and only hold 12 rounds as advertised, so you are going to need at least a couple extras. To be honest that's where the real cost comes in. Although it can be fun popping the clip out and putting a new one in. Also surplus Mosin ammo pouches are very cheap!

Other cons would include a total lack of sing mounts (but lets be real here if you are getting a Obrez you probably like the DIY aspect of putting a sling on it) and if you for some reason have the idea that you want to put a PU scope on it, well first off good luck but second, you are going to need to somehow get a low hanging bolt so once again good luck.

In closing id say this is a good looking and fun to operate airsoft gun that is quite high quality given the price point and the only true con is the clip price which is listed as $39 dollars at the time of typing this review.
