Features Full Metal Receiver and Rail System New eSilverEdge geaarbox featuring advanced S.D.U. chipset to manage shot-to-shot amperage draw (gearbox only pulls 11amps at ~380 FPS) for improved consistency, performance, and instantaneous trigger response making this one of the most efficient stock gearboxes on the market Micro switch electronic trigger with near instantaneous trigger response w/ high speed competition style custom flat trigger Rhino Flip-up Sights Full Metal One-piece Hopup QD Sling Swivel with Adapter Retractable RS1 Stock The APS M4 Guardian features full metal receiver, light weight advanced slim CNC railed hand guard, retractable crane stock, bull barrel and high speed Rhino flip-up front and rear sight. Internally, the Guardian Sniper custom features a newly designed gearbox allowing quick spring changing.
When APS set out to develop the Silver Edge gearbox, they wanted to bring to market an ultra-smooth, low amperage draw, ultra-reliable system with huge upgrade potential. The newest iteration of the Silver Edge gearbox named eSilver Edge takes everything that made the original great and improves upon it.
The newly developed advanced S.D.U (Super Dynamic Unit) chipset monitors the amperage draw from shot to shot and will cut power to the gearbox if the current spikes too high before damage can be done to your gun.
To improve trigger performance, the eSilver Edge gearbox features a micro switch trigger which works together with the S.D.U. chipset for near instantaneous trigger response (as fast as 0.02 seconds). When combined with a short stroked trigger, users can achieve an incredible semi-auto rate of fire.
Additional to the reinforced internal parts, the gearbox shell itself has been greatly reinforced to withstand the stress of up to an M190 spring. Great thought and detail has gone into this gearbox to make it more durable, more efficient, and at the same time remain compatible with the great majority of Tokyo Marui Spec upgrade parts.

" This is a solid rifle and its a great foundation for a DMR if youre willing to swap around some internals. It comes with a plastic magazine but no batteries so make sure you get that taken care of.
Now for the more nerdy stuff. The build is solid, the weight isnt too heavy and feels very nice. The gearbox construction seems well put together, though it can be a little bit of a pain to fully unscrew, and an even bigger one to put back together without any of the smaller springs popping out of place. I really liked the quick change spring system on the gearbox; it made maintenance and modifications a whole lot simpler than the other AEG I used. I would suggest 11.1v lipos if youre going for DMR, and youre definitely going to want to get a better spring and higher torque motor as both of these are kind of mid tier. My only real problems with it is that the mag they supply is kinda junky plastic and there is an annoyingly small pin holding the bolt catch in the receiver that makes it really difficult to access the gearbox. Otherwise, as far as I know, its been a great gun, only messing up once because I was an idiot with reassembly.
TLDR if you're a beginner wanting a cheap and more DMR built weapon, this works very well. It also serves as a great foundation to have a solid gun in the long run.
" This was my first airsoft gun purchase and I am so proud to own this gun. Ive already gotten tons of compliments on the field about it. Im going to upgrade it but man is it a great out of the box beginner gun. Its a lot more accurate than all of my friends AEGs and if you keep it on semi auto I only used around 3/4th of a battery for all day on the field.
PROS:
Very strong construction I tripped like an idiot and the guns bounced of a bunch of rocks (so did I) and it was perfectly ok it had this tiny little scratch thats it.
Pretty dang accurate (6 inch grouping from 110ft with a lot of wind)
Looks amazing
Heavy, it feels really realistic
Makes a very satisfying metal clack when it shoots (scares ppl and its funny)
Amazing gun for the price
CONS:
Not to my standards as a DMR but I bought it to upgrade so oh well
Stock a lil loose but I basically threw it on some rocks and its not any looser
Magazine too long to lay down but thats not really a con just get a different mag
If you are thinking to yourself I want a cheaper gun thats well built, looks amazing, shoots pretty good out of the box to upgrade. Look no further I love this gun.
" I got this gun because i always wanted a dmr and this is absolutely the best. The electric blowback looks and sounds amazing, it shoots amazing, and feels amazing. It is made of mostly metal. I think the muzzle brake comes off but i havent figured it out yet. It does nit come with the optic in the picture. I would recommend it to everyone.
