About Air Guns (Not Airsoft)

It's up to YOU to know the laws in your state, county, and city, and to fully comply with them. You must be 18 years or older to buy any air or airsoft gun.

Air guns are not airsoft or toy guns. They are recommended for adult use only and by youth under adult supervision. Misuse or negligence may cause serious injury or death.

1) ALWAYS keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. There are several safe "carries" depending on the situation. Treat your air gun like it is a real firearm.

2) Treat every gun as if it were loaded. Never point at anything you do not intend to shoot. Always keep the air gun on safe until you are ready to shoot.

3) Only load or cock a gun prior to shooting. Do not store a loaded gun.

4) Know your target and what lies beyond. Always aim in a SAFE DIRECTION. Always keep the muzzle of the air gun pointed in a SAFE DIRECTION.

5) Anyone shooting or near a shooter should wear safety glasses.

6) All persons near a shooter should remain behind the shooter and the direction of the muzzle. Never climb or jump with a gun. You can't control the direction of the muzzle if you stumble or fall.

7) Avoid ricochet. Do not shoot at hard surfaces or at the surface of water. The pellet may bounce off or ricochet and hit someone or something you had not intended to hit.

8) Keep the muzzle clear. Never let anything obstruct the muzzle of a gun. Don't allow the muzzle to come in contact with the ground.

9) Guns not in use should always be unloaded. Store the air gun in a secure location. Before you store your air gun, remove the magazine, make sure there is no magazine inserted, no rounds in the chamber, and make sure the gun is decocked.

10) Never brandish your air gun or airsoft gun in public. Do not brandish or display any gun in public - it may confuse people and may be a crime. Police and others may think it is a firearm.

11) Do not change the coloration and markings to make it look more like a firearm. That is dangerous and may be a crime.

"This weapon has the kick of a real Gun and it has the weight feels very realistic DO NOT ORDER FROM AMAZON!!!!!! you will get a faulty magazine.

"The APS Shark has a great feel to it. The trigger is short and crisp, with very little uptake. Changing the Co2 out can be a little tricky. This particular gun has a slotted key design like a large flat head to change the Co2 cartridge. The C02 goes into the magazine backwards like the HDS .68 cal shotgun by Umarex. When I field tested this Shark gun I got a max of 300 FPS per shot, which isn't that bad. My number 1 complaint on this gun was the Magazine. It would index to many bb's into the chamber, causing the gun to jam at times. I only got about 2 to 3 magazines per C02.

Pros; 1.The gun looks cool, and feels cool.
2.The blow-back action is amazing.
3. Good overall weight and construction

Cons; 1. Co2 does not last very long
2. Gun has problems jamming

"I was really looking forward to this pistol being awesome, but unfortunately it turned out to be a catastrophic failure, full auto never worked, most I got was a 2-3 round burst followed by slide jam, cycle failure and co2 spraying out until I hit the mag release to cease the failure...So I ordered an extra mag along with new nozzle, a new blowback housing, and rear rail/hammer assembly along with various internal upgrades, now the pistol doesn't even shoot in semi lett alone full auto, I've researched online various problems and fixes with the APS Shark, tried it all and now I'm stuck with a $150 paper weight, after turning the magazine valve out a few spins, the gun gives off slight hiss when fired not even enough gas to send the bb down the barrel, the problem lies in the tolerance of the hammer not striking the magazine valve with enough force, im no noobie to airguns, I own just about every bb/pellet pistol available on the market, from glock, to hk, sig sauer, springfield armory, gamo, kwc, and this APS Steel Shark is by far the worst, it just simply does not work, and if it does it won't for long. if ur looking for a good fully-automatic bb co2 pistol I recommend the Crossman P1, or umarex's berreta, or Barra guns 009 witch is basically a gen4 glock modified for full-auto. Yea don't bother with this garbage it looks cool but functions extremely poorly even brand new out of the box it was junk, after all the attempts and aftermarket parts I tried it was a complete waste of money....
