"I was really excited to get my hands on this, and the result is definitely worth it in my opinion. The pistol itself featured an impressive quality to it. There's some beautiful machined parts here, and the entire metal construction feels really smooth to the touch. It features some Chinese markings which may not be your style if you're seeking to roleplay German, but they're small enough you can at least ignore them. For me, who loves to study China's Republican Warlord era, this is a great detail.

The wooden stock is great, too - it's the entire reason I gave in and bought the gun. It's made of plastic, and so doesn't feel quite as nice compared to the pistol itself. But the look of the stock attached alone is really worth it. I've always had a thing for pistol+stock combos. I've read reviews noting that the stock is fragile, and can bend/contort very easily. Not sure if it's been fixed of mine is just different, but my stock feels really solid and won't move a bit. The only thing is, it can wobble a little bit at the point of connection, but it's super mild. This is good, because I exclusively bought this to serve as a pistol carbine.

I can't comment on performance beyond a brief test due to cold weather. What little I've tried, this little guy is extremely capable, and puts a lot of power downrange which I think lets it shoot above its weight.

If you think you're interested in this, as a sidearm or primary, I'd recommend giving it a shot. It feels great to hold and, judging from my own tests and the reviews of several others, can still give you solid performance in the field.
