"Was looking for installation instructions and finally found some on another website. Copied it here to hopefully help someone else.

"To fit, install 3 washers in the stock tube and try to cycle by hand. If the bolt catch does not work then remove a washer, if the bolt can go more than 3mm rear of the bolt catch then add a washer. "

My LM4 needed 4 washers total to achieve the desired outcome.

"Excellent addition to your LM4. Really adds to the realism. Make sure you use the spacers and take the time to get them right. Use a extendable mechanics magnet.

"First impressions:

The buffer is definitely heavier than the stock WE-Tech one. The end polymer cap can be pushed in slightly since it appears to be slightly spring loaded. You definitely need to use the provided steel spacers and play around with it to see how many spacers you need (in my WE-Tech M16A3 I need TWO spacers added to the stock polymer spacer).

Performance:

The ROF is increased and so is the vibration of the recoil. Two issues I�ve noticed, the back polymer cap was crushed inward, but it can still be used (this may have been a result from it coming off while firing�my second point covers this). Also, there is no pushpin holding the back polymer cap so it slides off very easily. It can and WILL slide off eventually from firing. I highly suggest guerrilla gluing it into place to prevent this from further happening. Just make sure to check it after every game during your standard preventative maintenance on the gun.

Since the buffer needs very minor adjustments, I�m giving this a 4.5/5.
