" I just recently received this rifle, and it is an absolute dream to have. Although rather inconvenient for actual in game use (due to shells flying all over the place), it is excellent for training purposes. The loading procedure is identical to its real counterpart and takes some real power to operate the bolt correctly, which I appreciate. It did require some oiling out of the box, since the bolt was very grindy and hard to initially place in. This is my first spring rifle, and I must say, they are just as worth it as the gas rifles are. Overall, very recommended, especially for collectors of historical replicas.
" easy to use out of the box, the shells are a nice touch for authenticity. i can use real steel k98 stripper stripper clips with these shells. yes the real steel stripper clips fit into the rifle, been practicing my reloads with stripper clips. i can run a ww2 m1923 cartridge belt with this, carries 100 rounds on 20 stripper clips. yes they make a brass catcher, and scope for this rifle. hope Evike will sell both! had to pick up separately. rifle is quiet when firing, and most noisy when reloading. cocks on closure, so pushing bolt in is harder than out. even with fake wood furniture is still a little heavy, but not impossible to handle. real kar98k slings fit mine. my cleaning rod screws out! bolt is easy to remove, and replace, ordered and extra here on Evike. happy as heck!!!
" The full wood version is very nice. It has a good weight, and the shells eject perfectly (around 99% of the time). The only downside I have seen so far is that there are no instructions to install the bolt which isn't difficult if you're handy without instructions, it does not shoot to the FPS in the description, but it isn't bad. This is a beautiful display piece but is not practical for gameplay or much else apart from having fun with it.
