Introduced in 2012, the Pinhead series has grown from five to nine rods. Built on classic designs, with E-Glass construction and stainless steel boat guides, these old school rods will never go out of style. If there ever was a true west coast rod line, this is it. Built to throw everything from anchovies to heavy iron, these rods exemplify Southern California fishing. You don™t need to be a Pinhead to fish these rods, but they are designed that if you are one, you will be able to scrape together enough cash to get anyone you want. Built with simplicity in mind, the Pinhead™s build includes a cork tape grip that anyone can replace year after year for a few bucks, chromed stainless guides wrapped all black, and a Turks Head.

Note: Polyurethane coatings require the use of denatured alcohol during the clean up of the blank in lieu of the traditional acetone. Acetone is a polyurethane dilutant and will breakdown the finish of the blank. Please take note as our warranty does not cover the finish and use of acetone.
