"I'm really impressed with this piece! I haven't bought an airsoft gun in a few years now and figured I wanted to add something fancy to my collection recently as a B-day gift to myself, and wow, this gun really satisfied my desire for something fancy!
First off, the gun functions just like a real single action revolver, so it's great to have it as a replica to get some practice for the real gun at any convenient time.
I want to start with the weight; it's hefty! It really feels like you have to respect this piece and treat it just like a real firearm which is even more practice for the real version. I don't know how much it weighs exactly, but it actually weighs a little more than my real single action revolver that's just a tiny bit smaller than this airsoft gun. So the weight is 10/10, and that's also just because I prefer full metal heavy weight hand guns.
The hammer is very satisfying when pulling it back and it's nice to hear the ratchet of the cylinder and clicks of the hammer. I like how the hammer half cocks to let you reload the cylinder just like the real one, except I'm used to 2 clicks of the hammer; don't know if all single action revolvers are like that. But who cares, it half cocks just like a real single action revolver!
Loading in the cartridges is my favorite part! Besides having to load the BBs into each cartridge, the fun part is when you eject and load the cartridges into the cylinder. It's my favorite part because it's so relaxing and reminds me of when I'm on the firing range loading 22s into my single action revolver. So A+ on that, 10/10! Each BB has to be loaded at the back of each cartridge and it has a nice little gasket thing that secures each BB into it, so even loading the BBs is quite relaxing! The cartridges themselves just look really cool, you got these big ole bullets going into the big iron! So overall, the cylinder and cartridges are 10/10, very cool, golden, elegant, and realistic! It even has the shell ejecting rod which is really cool! Although you can just tilt the gun upwards and the shells slide out, but it's still fun to use the ejection rod.
Now for the shooting! So, the shooting part, at least for me, is a buttload of fun! Since there's obviously no blowback, this thing really utilizes all of the Co2. But my favorite part is shooting with a fresh Co2 tank because you can actually see some of the gas oozing out of the muzzle which looks almost like real gun smoke! Even after a few reloads, you can still see a little bit of "smoke" puffing out, super cool!
Now, honestly, it's not very accurate. Some shots are on point, but some shots just go a bit wild no matter how steady your grip is. But I don't mind it at all, it gives me more of a challenge. Overall, it's still decently accurate. But I think that depending how you load the BBs is how some of the BBs are going to react with each shot. So, I feel like if the BBs are nice and deep in the cartridge, it may be a more accurate shot. But I don't know, I'm still experimenting. But I guess if you want to use it for game play, human sized targets shouldn't be any problem at close quarters. Plus, you'll have gas forever!
Overall, the presentation of this single action airsoft revolver is just amazing! The revolver is as elegant as it gets, the gold on the cylinder, hammer, and trigger are just as impressive as they look in the pictures. Nothing looks cheap on this gun. The nickel plating on the rest of the gun really stands out, very shiny and polished. The grips are very pretty too, they're a nice silky white color with a bit of a marble appearance and the emblem of course is what gives this revolver its identity. The grips are very firm, doesn't feel cheap in any way. The fact that the grip has a tool to reload the Co2 is just a plus! I like that because I'm not a fan of having sperate tools to reload airsoft guns.
I'm really happy with this piece, it even came with a card that has the number "7" on it. I don't know what that means, but I really appreciated it because 7 is my favorite number. I'm keeping everything that came with this gun because I think this really is a collectors piece that I'm sure will increase in value in the future. It's limited edition right? The box itself is like most airsoft gun boxes, nothing too fancy, but still something I would hang on to since it's limited edition. Oh, there is an extra set of 6 cartridges in the box, so you'll have 12 in total. Anyways, beautiful and elegant airsoft gun. 10/10. Oh, and every time I look at it, I feel like this gun is worth way more than what I paid for!
