"Hello everyone , just like to start off by saying this is an AWESOME gearbox , and although I don't own it, by good friend and team mate put this in his old CA SL8 body and it has one hell of a kick to its shooting. Please don't get hit with this point blank as it will make you BLEED. HE is very finicky about opening up his gun so i never got to see the actual GB in the picture it is wired to deans which is a plus if you dont own or know how to use a soldering gun.
because I never actually saw the GB, is it a male or female type plug that its wired to?

"The fit and finish may not be as pretty as Systema, CA or TM but this gearbox works amazingly well. I was impressed with the stock performance (shooting approx 360fps with very good compression.)
Because the G36 is very easy to open up and get at the gearbox, it's very easy to swap out gearboxes. I have a CQB only (300fps) gearbox and a field only (380fps) gearbox and a DM semi-only gearbox (420fps). At this price it's cheaper to buy a new gearbox than to replace a gearset or wiring set.

"great if you are too lazy or afraid to modify your old gearbox, or if you somehow lose or break it. reinforced so its not going to break anytime soon and gives your gun better preformance and a longer life.

"Fit into my TM G36C perfectly, no shimming or additional adjusting, motor should probably be upgraded as anything that doesn't have labeling on it should be (no telling what you're getting outside of a generic, JG/Matrix motor of some kind), but this was good in an affordable pinch to swap out my old burned out motor and assembly.
My biggest complaint was that the "OEM Reinforced Selector Plate for G36 G36C XM8 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles by JG" that it shipped with, broken during shipping. I was lucky enough to have the original intact from my old gearbox, and still able to continue on, but that was not fun to open the box, and broken pieces come out.
I'd give it a 4/5, but leaning more towards the 3 due to the fact that the motor isn't listed outside of the fact that it's an AEG short-type motor by JG/Matrix.
I'll update this if/when the motor burns out, but it's running solidly after about 12 hours of being in a CQB environment and around 10k shots fired.

"I bought this awhile back for my g36c and finally got it into my g36c and ready to test fire it because I was so excited to finally shoot this gun that i bought from a friend but the gearbox broke so i bought this and i was excited when it arrived but when it was in my gun the air nozzle wouldn't move so i attempted to open up the gearbox to try to fix it and the a part of the trigger mechanism broke so even if I fixed the gearbox, I would then have to flick the trigger forward after everytime I pulled the trigger

"The gearbox is probably good, but the motor was locked up when I received it. The GB seemed to be used and I got the gearbox locked up right out of the box. The spring and piston was locked back and I had to pull the anti reversal latch. Wasn't very impressed as this wasn't advertised as used or refurbished.

"I bought this gearbox for a JG G36K. My friends broke on him, his trigger contacts were broken at the wire and I figured I'd just set him up with a new one because his was many years old. I got the gearbox today and to my dismay, the gearbox was locked up, and the spring and piston was locked back and not returned to resting position. The gearbox was used and I was disappointed to also find out the motor wasn't working at all. I then tried my friends old motor in its place with the wires that came with the new gearbox and my old motor spun perfectly. So I reccomend not buying this unless you want to have some work to do to it. After replacing the old motor I installed it and it seems to work fine. Though I have no high hopes for it.

"I decided to drop this into my TM G36C just to test. It worked fine, shot at about 373 FPS. Of course I decided to open it up to try and upgrade it. Internals were crap. Spring Guide broke as I was taking it out, way tooo much grease/gunk, and when I put it all back, found out that the alignment of the lower receiver was not aligned for the pin and mag screw. Ended up cracking my lower receiver due to this.
I guess if you never plan on opening it it will work but the question is... for how long? I don't trust the internals what-so-ever. That's what I get for going cheap.
