"This scope is pretty cool overall. It's a replica of the Leupold CQ/T scope, and that's mainly why I bought it.
The only serious flaw with the scope is the reticule doesn't get bright enough for the texas sun, but I can still see the reticle, just not the color. It is also the correct amber color, not red or green. The scope does take two LR44 batteries but has no instructions, and does not take 1 AA battery like the battery compartment says and the real steel one takes. The scope is large and fairly heavy, and for the price there are better options on the market, but I specifically wanted a CQ/T replica and I am happy with mine. The scope goes from 1x to 3x with a simple clockwise twist of the eyepiece, and eye relief isn't particularly good but with an adjustable stock is a non-issue. The glass is clear and well made, but has a slight fish eye effect at 1x that resolves at 3x. Overall 4 stars.
