The Alpha CRB is a versatile carbine length rifle that can be used effectively in close quarters battle and wide open outdoor engagements. The Alpha CRB utilizes a 10.5 barrel and 9 free floating, Alpha rail system. The aluminum receivers feature a stamped KRYTAC logo and a dull matte black finish. Additional features include an ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed. The KRYTAC adjustable battery stock features two different battery configurations, nunchuck style batteries can fit in the tubes or a small lithium polymer brick battery can fit at the rear of the stock in front of the buttpad. A third battery option for the Alpha CRB is a stick battery in the buffer tube. The stock also features two QD sling swivel divots as well as a loop for strap type sling attachments. The Alpha CRB features the latest in shooting sports technology and it has the internals to back them up.
Internally, the Alpha CRB features a reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate electronic signals and to protect the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90 angle, to prevent fracture. Also, the gearbox shell features a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston, this window is also convenient for inspecting the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston is made of a durable, lightweight polymer and features 4 metal teeth, with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The Cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy form the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears have been especially formulated to be very strong, Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the KRYTAC high torque motor, capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded.Parts ListLength:

"I’ve had this rifle for about a year now, and it is awesome! It’s consistent, reliable, and accurate. I broke it myself, no fault due to the rifle, as it fell from about 5 1/2 feet and the buffer tube slightly bent. My only complaint is I wish I could run an 11.1 on it without the motor over spinning.
"It's Good really good. You can get this thing to perform better then the mk2 crb for about the same price.
Let's do the math
Krytac crb mk2 is $345
For that price you can get this gun $255
A asg motor that's better then the mk2 motor for $39.45
A asg spring to upgrade the fps for $9.95
and a 6.03 Prometheus tight bore for $42.88
That comes to a total of about $347, just two dollars more then the crb mk 2.
"This is the best rifle Ive ever used, held, or fired that is under the 400 dollar mark.
Can use lipos (I use a 11.1 with no issues)
ROF is 25 rps with a lipo
FPS is perfect for indoor
Accurate out to 150 feet
Great hop up and tightbore inner barrel
Has a great MOSFET system out of the box
Quick Change Spring
Efficient piston and air nozzle
Cramped battery storage in the stock
A2 pistol grip is not ergonomic
The pros heavily outway the cons. For $255 you cannot buy a better rifle. The only issue I've had is due to the 11.1 lipo (It states the problem in the manual). Once in a while (every 30 rounds or so on semi) it fired 2 rounds on semi until I switched to auto, then safe, then back to semi (that corrected the problem for another 30 rounds). It did that though the first 700 rounds until I started to break it in. I have fired about 10,000 rounds and this issue has not popped up again. Use a 7.4 lipo to break the rifle in for the first 1000 rounds, then use your 11.1 lipo. This rifle dominates in CQB, but is only as good as the user. A bad airsofter wont improve with a rifle. A good airsofter will be able to use a better airsoft gun more efficiently. My rifle was firing at 340 fps with .20 gram BBs, and then about 325 after the spring was broken in. It has a 4 FPS variance after 10k rounds.
This platform can support many upgrades that would break stock guns. You can add a Dual sector gear, add a stiffer spring, throw a better motor in, etc. I would personally avoid a DSG or anything similar. The ROF is quite high as it is, and throwing something in to raise it much higher will cause a lot more wear and tear.
TLDR; Get this gun, if you are just getting into airsoft, are a experienced airsofter, or thinking about going to a Milsim or CQB field.
