"Perfect starting point for building the M4A1 Custom from Metal Gear Solid 4. Replace the front sight with an SPR type folding front sight and replace the pistol grip and stock with tan ones.

"So ive had this gun a couple years so ill give my 2 cents. It is very well built externally one of the most realistic guns at my field, even comes with a nice black steel tip in the box. Internals are meh. I cracked the gearbox shell and stripped a bevel gear after a year or so of good play. Currently crammed a g&p i5 in it, with some of the lct parts and its a really nice gun now. It comes with a really nice piston, cylinder head, and spring guide. Ok 6.03 brass tightbore. Motor is a plain ol stock m4 motor. Weak points are the GB shell and the gearset. I would recommend re shimming, radiusing the GB and a sorbo pad when you get it to extend the life of stock parts. Would not recomened for new players, but i got it on sale for $209 and at that price point its a really soild gun to build up into a real beast. FYI me and my buddy both bought these and they both shoot about 430 FPS out of the box, some fields may have a problem with that.

"This gun is the perfect blend of a simple design, with a sturdy base. This gun became my project gunn because of how easy it is to modify and also has such a solid build that breaking it will be a bit of a challenge,

pros-simple, has potential, reliable, sturdy construction.

cons-The internals will have to be worked on and tuned if you want this to be a high tier gun.
