We noticed that with particularly heavy use, and heavy recoil firearms, the locking blockpin had a tendency to walk out, leading to failure. While the trigger pin is captured, the locking block pin is only retained through friction with OEM parts. With frequent servicing, the pin holes can be damaged through wear over time. The SI Anti-walk locking block pin engages the slide stop lever spring in a similar way to the trigger pin to help prevent walk out. To preserve the frame, the pins are concave at the ends to support a pin punch and prevent slippage and mitigate potential damage to this critical area. For those that dont require detail stripping of their firearms regularly, they can be color filled to add another degree of customization to stand out from the crowd. " These Strike Industries Anti-Walk pins for standard Glock pistols are awesome (and hard to find). If you have a Glock where the pins have come loose over time and will "walk" out when shooting, these are a must. (Also good for 80% builds.) Plus, the color trigger housing pin in the grip makes a nice visual touch to the pistol.
" This is truly a very well made pin set but they are very lacking if you plan on installing them in a Strike Industries 80% Gen3 Glock lower. They are way too short. Is Strike Industries planning on coming out with a pin set for their Strike 80% Gen3 lower. All the pins out there so far are too short to be flush with the edge of the frame, all except the Grip pin. Those pins that comes with the Strike 80% kit are bit too long. Strike made their 80% much thicker where the front locking block is installed, so shouldn't they have included all 4 required pins that are long enough to completely fill the pin holes? That might have been the smart and right thing to do. Now we either have to wait for Strike to come out with a custom 4 Pin set for their 80% Gen3 Glock lower or have someone make them for us or wait for another company to come out with a custom 4 pin set for the Strike Gen3 80% Glock lower And you can bet they wont be free. Come on Strike, if you're going to make that kind of modification then you should by all means supply all 4 proper length pins with that kit. Very poor way of doing things. If and when Strike comes out with them, they should in all fairness be supplied free of charge to all Strike 80% owners.
