"Hands down the best gun stock gun on the market! The looks are beautiful to start, and it’s surprisingly light for being all metal. The hopup is a dial type (on mine anyway), but it is wired to deans. The stock is quite comfy and offers a pretty good amount of space. The QBS system is amazing. The spring guide is all metal and features a ball bearing. One thing to note: the stock spring guide fits in the back of a Retro Arms QC gearbox shell, which may suggest that the QBS system can still be used even with certain aftermarket gearbox shells. But, of course, the performance. The trigger response with a 7.4v 16c 3000mAh Titan Li-Ion battery is instantaneous. And the rate of fire is pretty quick, too, at around 15rps (which is quite impressive for a stock gun). All in all, this gun is fantastic and I can’t wait to field it! Not to mention the price. This gun can easily cost more than it is, but, no, it’s less than $300. Seriously, you’d be a fool to pass thing thing up.

"Let me just start by saying you WILL NOT regret buying this AEG. The ROF is unreal with an 11.1. I personally run a 7.4 majority of the time but I’ll just throw an 11.1 in to flex on people lol the FPS is good ~370 out of the box. I’ve put about 10,000 rounds through mine so far and myself and everyone I’ve played with are beyond I mpressed with the Cyma Platinum series. I recommend for a new or experienced player because you just can’t go wrong with it. All aluminum body, comes with a tight bore inner barrel, quick spring change system and a trigger MOSFET right out of the box. 10/10 in my book.

"I bought this gun about 7 months ago, and I love it.
Very reliable, and very cool looking as it's a CYMA.
However, it does need some bits and pieces to be good.
Such as a rotary hop chamber
DEANS plugs
Maple Leaf MR-hop
Maple Leaf Omega nub
Maybe a new barrel (ZCI, Angel Custom, not a Prometheus)
And of course, .28-.40 gram BBs.

After those parts, your gun will be better than any Krytac, SSR15, G&G, or any other gun for that matter unless of course they have the same parts, and be quite affordable on top of that.
The quick change spring is also very nice, as it's actually quick change and all you need is a coin, or flat head screwdriver, or Allen key to change the spring.
If you complete the upgrades as listed any, you may want a weaker spring as you will probably be at 450 FPS, but other than those things, your gun should be close to perfect.

One word of caution when getting batteries for this gun, only get a 7.4 volt LI-PO or a 9.6 volt NI-CAD, 11.1 will cut the lifespan roughly in half as it puts too much stress on the entire gearset and motor.

I would recommend this gun 10,000%, best AEG I've ever had and insanely reliable compared to all of the ones my friends and I own.
Totally worth the money, and it's not even too expensive to begin with.

"Just got mine love it so far, only thing is that it says small Tamiya but mine came with a deans I guess that’s better but all my batteries are Tamiya so I’ll need and adapter, other than that great gun!

"I won this in the Swagg pack and I have never been happier with a gun. It has an amazing hop up and can easily get a lot of range from this gun. It’s not to heavy but it’s durable as heck.
Pros:
Everything

Cons:
Nothing

"The best AEG I own right now, and probably the best one I'll ever own. Looks, feels, and sounds amazing! Highly recommend this gun to any intermediate or even veteran airsoft players. Range is great outta the box and the trigger response is crisp and clean. ROF on a 11.1v is high (nearly 30 RPS), will be getting a Titan 7.4v soon and I'm hoping the trigger response is as good on it as the 11.1v. 5/5 stars, got it on sale but I would spend the full 275 dollars on the 13" version.

"Just got it today but I was really satisfied with the quality and the performance of this m4. I love everything about it right now but hopefully it will hold up for years before it stops working. I’ll probably update this within a month or two

"Have to say this rifle for regular price is a steal and if you catch it on sale it’s a mistake not to buy one. Trigger response is just awesome. Loaded with 7.4 lipo it spits bbs almost as fast as you can spam the trigger. The hardest thing I’ve had to deal with so far is finding mags that feed as well as the stock mag. There’s plenty of battery space in the stock for stick style batteries that I use. I had difficulty removing the flash hider due to a stripped lock screw but after removal it was easy installing a new mock silencer. This thing also took a major liking to the 11.1 lipo I tried. There seemed to be a slight feeding issue that could easily be solved, ot a technical person so not sure what needs to be done but this thing still spits bbs like crazy.

"This gun is outstanding out of the box, it gives the trident mkII a run for its money as best aeg out of the box
by Iegor R. on 03/04/2024
"I love the gun but the one thing I dislike is that when I just bought it a screw in the buttstock was completely threaded and would not screw in, but it was a really small issue that was resolved by just getting a bigger screw and rethreading the hole itself.

"For those who are looking at the reviews you will have to buy a battery that has a deans connector because I was stupid and didn't read what was and was not included and this m4 of all variants they have listed to choose from this page do not come with a battery for the gun and it may not come with a manual because mine did not come with the manual and this is my first airsoft gun cause I heard it is a good recommended starting gun but it is a good gun with a decent fire rate on full auto

"Absolutely loved it, worked fine out of the box. Watched some videos on youtube talking about the air nozzle and piston o-ring being poor quality, and they were correct. The piston o-ring is absolutely trash. No biggie, changed the o-ring swapped the air nozzle out. Put it all back together. Now having major issues with my motor height, Cant seem to get it right, stripped three teeth from bevel gear, now i have a gear set on order. :( externals look and feel great, internals are ok at best. AOE is As to be expected, not great.

Fixable but you better know what you are doing.

"This an overall good rifle for the price, but the hop up unit doesn’t work for me for some reason? Maybe just got a bad one but everything else about it is great

"Pretty solid AEG, with a few caveats. Unlike others I can't recommend it as a first AEG, but for someone who knows their way around a gearbox, this is a really easy "fix-er-up" for an excellent end product.

Pros:
1.Very responsive out of the box, even on a 7.4v the semi doesn't disappoint. 11.1v Turns it into a downright competitive 32rps blaster (at a cost, I'll cover this later). This is due to the quick gearset and a very nice motor; keep these stock and you wont have to adjust tappet timing, making the whole process incredibly easy.
2. The quick buffer system is probably the nicest quick change spring system I've ever used in an airsoft M4. Unfortunately it has the side effect of making the gearbox a slight pain to remove from the lower receiver.
3. Internal quality is pretty great with a couple exceptions. Decent shimming out of the box, required only 2 more total shims to be just perfect. Gearbox wasn't radiused but that was a relatively simple fix. Airseal was perfect after changing the stock nozzle out for a retro arms (no o-ring on stock, kinda baffled me considering how great everything else was). Full metal rack piston, vented head, no need to adjust AOE. Pretty brilliant mechanically.

The cons:
1. As others have stated before, the MOSFET/Trigger unit is absolute garbage. Mine stopped working in the middle of a game and appeared to be suffering from a heat build-up. After about a mid-cap and a half the gun refused to shoot for about 5 minutes. After which I was able to pop off a few more shots in semi before it froze again. This was with an 11.1v LiPo, so if you're keeping it stock and don't want to touch the trigger my recommendation is just to run a 7.4 and live with it. After installing a GATE Titan V2 (requires some moderate gearbox modification, namely removing one of the screw posts for the trigger unit and half of the trigger stop post.) that issue was resolved, and the gun has since functioned appropriately on 11.1v.
2. The stock hop-up is also garbage. It is ridiculously difficult to adjust, the barrel C-clip is close to impossible to remove (nearly stabbed myself with a flathead screwdriver so many times trying to remove it), the knurled hop arm pin is similarly seemingly welded in and the unit is also the source of about a ~25fps variation in chrono (Mine shot about 1.18 joules out of the box with .28s. Wish it was a little higher but could be good for CQB players, also easily changed with a simple spring swap). I swapped to a maple leaf macaron and a modify flat nub and was able to achieve decent results (not amazing, but sufficient for field play). I've since ordered a Maxx M4a and will see what kind of results I get out of that. Oh, and I was unable to change the inner barrel due to the stock hop-up's c-clip not fitting any aftermarket barrel I had. I seriously detest that unit.
3. QBS and the selector plate makes the gearbox difficult to remove from the receiver, you've got to rock it in a weird way to get everything settled. This is more of a minor annoyance than a genuine con, as IMO the QBS is still a great system.

Overall, if you're willing to spend some time inside the guts this could be a really slick blaster. But if you're looking for something to pick up right out of the box and go, I'd look elsewhere. Despite this not being the norm for CYMA, it took considerable effort to make it reliable enough to field regularly, but I am pretty satisfied with the end result (as long as I can successfully replace that hop-up and barrel without alignment issues lol).
