"I've had this gun for about a year and half. I'm currently running it stock with no performance upgrades. This gun is amazing you wont go wrong if you buy this. I'm hard on my guns and this is the only rifle I own that lasted longer then 8 months. It has good range, accuracy, rate of fire, its light and small (especially for an aeg). There are 4 things I do not like about this gun. The first one is the battery compartment is tight. You'll have to mess with it for a bit before getting it in just right. The second thing is the areas mags that come with it does not fit snuggly in the mag well. The third thing is theres a screw on top of the rail and it keeps getting loose. Theres only one screw that holds it on as well. The last thing is that the out barrel wobbles and hits the rails. I added felt to keep it from wobbling. Overall this is a great gun and I strongly recommend it.

"This was my first ever Airsoft gun and it’s been 2 years that I’ve had it. Been a GREAT gun and has never gave me issues. There is a website decided to special parts just for this gun that I have on mine. If you are looking for a great starter gun or just a cheaper good gun, this is it. Trigger response is the most beautiful I’ve felt on any gun I’ve owned since!

"This thing is an absolute beast right out of the box. The trigger is phenomenal and the weight and feel of it are top notch. The Airtech battery extender is a must buy for it as the stock battery compartment is very small. Other than that, this machine just runs with an 11.1 in it. Worth every penny.

"Amazing! Shot 390 fps out of the box. (have my own chrono). Added a prometheus purple day 1, took it to my range (210ft to target) and was hitting with .28g bbs 2 out of 3. Tried .32s, .36s, and .40s and adjusting hop a bit with each increase in weight.. Accuracy got better each time, and was still comfortably hopping out to the 210 ft mark. For fun, I had BioShot bbs in .45g weight, and tried them... WOW! Hopped out to 210ft, and fell just past, estimating the range with .45g to be about 220ft or so. I took this to an outdoor field last saturday and had the best airsoft game I've ever had!! Wherever that red dot rested the bb's went. There were over 100 people there, snipers and HPA and polarstars and normal AEGs, and NOT ONE had the range+accuracy that this bad boy has!!

I have midcap k120's, and by the third mag in 10 minutes the handgrip (motor) was getting warm, I knew this from reading previous reviews, and to let others know not to worry and it is normal. Also, I didn't have a single misfeed with k120s (4 different mags) and they all ran great through 8 intermittent hours.

Must haves: Prometheus purple hop (watch YouTube on how to change a hop bucking, it's SIMPLE. In and out of Amoeba in 5 minutes.)

Airtech Battery compartment extender.

Barrel Stabilizer by airtech OR plumbers tape on the outside-end of the inner barrel. It's easy to research this, how and why it is needed. The tip of the inner barrel has too much space between it and the outside barrel, causing a tad wobble and inconsistencies in long range shots. Easy fix.

I have owned many mid-range ($300ish) AEGs from CYMA, Classic Army, the ICS L85A2, Valken, and THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST out of the box.

"This rifle is extremely solid and there is no flex whatsoever so don't let the polymer receiver turn you off. Out of the box this gun is perfect, shoots extremely flat out to a solid 140ft and the trigger response is on par with a gbbr. The rail system on this rifle allows you to configure the fore end however you want and comes with 2 hand stops. I highly recommend this gun to a beginner as it is pre upgraded and this rifle will put you on the same level as players with their own upgraded guns, if you are an experienced player I would also recommend this.

Pros
Extremely nice build quality
Extremely Accurate
Electronic trigger is no joke
Pre installed 6.03 mm barrel
Versatile rail system
Very compact and maneuverable, feels natural

Cons
Is a little picky with hi caps, Classic Army and G&G hi caps did not feed
Battery space is extremely limited, had to press my 11.1 v li po peck box battery in however Evike does sell a battery compartment extension

Overall I love this rifle and would recommend it to anyone

"Ok I love this gun with a passion. It shoots great fully auto is awesome and thing to switch the firing modes is awesome too but my only problems with it are the flip up sights are complete garbage plastic and only one sight mode for far range get new ones the screws can strip very easily and the battery compartment is pretty small but you can find a battery for it all and all this gun is a BEAST!

Pros
Amazing shooting
Very good for CQB and feild use
Fast spring change
Crazy fast Fully auto
You can change the ways it shoots with a thing forgot what it's called

Cons
Complete poop sights
Small battery compartment
Screws can strip easily

"i wanted to give a pros and cons on this rifle
let me just say my first day playing with it was amazeing, it keeps up with the performance of my krytacs for a cheaper price. 10/10 would and plan on buying more! i dont right reviews often but after playing with it i just had too, its acuracy, range, rate of fire (on an 11.1) and trigger reset are amazeing
pros: tigger reset is on par with hpa response
20 rps ish with a 11.1
solid build super light weight
6.03 pre installed barrel
cqb-field friendly (just change the spring)
range with .25s was getting about 250ft. wich is amazeing for stock
cons: small battery area ( use peq batterys)
rate of fire is verry poor with a 7.4 lipo, better off useing semi
small asthetics ( for me) like not ambidexorous fire selector and mag release

thats it 3 bad things and wouldnt really consider them bad, all in all a solid gun and look forward to trying more

"Whats going on! I own this gun and I'm going to be honest... This gun is great!!! I have fielded this it twice and have not found one problem with it. Because of my time running this gun and having so much fun with it I now have 2 other team mates buying it right away. But I will say that their might be just one thing that could be a problem down the road that isn't a issue yet and that is the motor. I have notice it getting a little hotter than most when playing pretty hard and sending rounds down range. But like I said it isn't an issue right now and might not ever be... But that is one thing that has me looking to do something to the gun down the road. But over all, buy this gun!!!

"All I can say is amazing. I have had this gun for about 9 months and haven't had one single little problem affecting performance. The gun is light which is nice because I am pretty small. The accuracy is amazing for anything I want to hit, which is at most 200 feet, and I can a man sized target 1/3 shots at that range. The only cons that I have don't affect performance but can be noticed: Magazine wobble, and receiver wobble, not a big deal, but kind of annoying. One more thing is the battery compartment. If you want to have a perfectly fitting battery, you can get one, and have fun with that. You need a PEQ size battery, but I just rigged a Velcro system and it works fine with any battery imaginable, but you don't have the spring loaded stock. I hope this helped.

"Great gun! Ares did very well on this gun! I have owned mine for about six months and it is very good. The stock has some wobble but nothing that bad and the front doesn't unscrew... But other than all of that it is a great gun and hasn't failed me yet! And it's even better with the programming box!

"To be honest, I to a hiatus from playing airsoft, and this was one of my top picks to update my kit; and I decided to get it, after much debate. I tip my hat to the production of this airsoft gun. The detail work and craftsmanship on this product goes far beyond my expectations. The few drawbacks that I found was the stock sights are not adjustable; the magazine well is a little roomy for some of my friends, you can fix that with tape, Velcro, or by getting different magazines; the battery compartment can be an issue, unless you do some research on what size/type of battery to get. I really enjoy the weight of it, it's not too heavy/light; the modular rails allow for me to adapt my kit to mission requirements; the electronic fire control unit gives it a better trigger response than my previous airsoft guns. I highly recommend this product for any player/enthusiast that are looking for something different or if they just want to do what I did and update a kit.

"Ok so just to clarify I don't usually write reviews on something unless it is worthy of one. Let me just say this is one rare case of such a review. To start off, it's extremely light compared to some other m4 aegs that I own so if your a player who doesn't want to lug around a heavy m4 like me, this is great. The FPS is great and always consistent. The ROF (rate of fire) with an Echo 1 11.1 lipo is outstanding. You can really suppress enemies with this bullet hose and I've seen guys drop to the dirt when they so much as hear this thing let loose a burst. Some people will say "don't use a 11.1 because the motor will heat up quickly" my answer is I also own a AMEOBA fire controller/programmer and I use 3 round burst and full auto which works just fine for longer engagements, however, this device is 60$ which sucks but it's worth it. I have had some abuse towards this weapon and it has not ever broke once.
Now to move onto the cons. The mag that is included is nice but it does wobble a bit but it's not a huge problem. One other problem is if you go full auto for some time the motor does have a tendency to heat up rather quickly so some fire discipline is required when using this. Also the battery compartment is quite small but like I said I use an 11.1 Echo 1 lipo which fits perfectly so that's not a problem. I already have 2 friends who want to buy the same weapon and the refs at my local field are always asking me where I got it and complementing on how good it looks (which I am told is very rare coming from other players there). Other than a quick heating motor this weapon is absolutely perfect. 5/5 stars
