"this thing is great i was one of the first to get this gun when it came out and it was worth every penny! its relatively cheap for such a high grade gun. the whole upper reservoir is metal except for lower part and the stock which is high grade polymer just like every other gun in this price range, and that's a good thing other wise the gun would be to heavy. the gun comes with a piece of crap mid cap and a nice 500 round hi cap this also comes with a barrel extension 8.4 battery and a fore grip. 5 stars *****

"This comes with a vertical grip. Standard type. The rail under the handguard can fit a M203, light or vertical grip.

It will fit a 9.6V small type.

This AEG is released in 2008.

"OK Austin K., mainly its your fault for losing the buttpad(dont be extreme with it) And with the hopup you are prbably using the wrong type of BB's either your using 0.12g or poor quality 0.20g also with a mid cap COMMON SENSE never use one they never work! unless it like a 50 dollar mid-cap. this gun is actually really good i have had for a good time now(from another store) and everything is still the same way for 6 years and then i dropped it on a concrete floor (i was up pretty high) i dont see why yours is messing up like that. maybe you just got a defaulty one or your just super heavy ruff on it and im gettin a second one because it was a super gun my hop-up was freakin perfect! no rise no low just straight shots! also i clocked mine at 420.

"Does anyone know the dimensions of the flashhider it comes with? I just bought a mock silencer that is 5.56mm and it doesnt fit on my gun. The silencer came with a flashider that goes over the origional flashhider for quick attachment. Also, many people are talking about how the DBoy is the same. What is recommended?

"sorry to say but the dboys and the echo 1 are from the same factory, and i can say that the only difference is maybe the mag it comes with and the flash hider...and no it does not come with a large type, its a mini like the dboys, i just spoke with my suppliers and their essentially the same, but then again i own the dboys and it shoots true and effective...i put my eotech and magnifyer on and it looks like a war machine...400 fps and about 10 rds per second...i give this a 5 cause the dboys and echo 1 are the same

"this is a great rifle, excellent accuracy, the grip that comes with it is much better than i thought it would be, the only problem i had with it was the grip wiggled a little bit after a month or two, it could have just been a lemon gun

"BTW to all those asking about replacement parts...it uses a lot of the same parts as an M4...double check the compatibility for parts on the gearbox, OF COURSE you can upgrade it! Good God....this isn't some Big 5 Sporting Goods gun....Christ Almighty....If you actually just LOOK, you can see all over on Evike parts for SCARs for internals, externals, it has RIS rails for accessories and M4 magazines are what you use for the SCAR...

"Well dude, I recommend looking around on forums about that. I can tell you, depending on how you use it and take care of it, an electric can outlast and outgun a spring any day. Keep it lubricated with silicon oil, do not dry fire your electric weapon, reinforce your gears when you use a higher battery with better quality internal upgrades etc. Now that that is out of the way, this gun is amazing and is a great price for what it is. I give mad props to Echo for making an affordable, metal gun taht can shoot 400+ FPS. Very unique gun, and very original to own. So many people have M4's and AK's. I myself have an M4, but its an A&K SPR MOD 1 and I've customized it. If you want a great quality gun, can shoot hard, realistic look and feel, and has a unique look to it...this gun is perfect. SCAR's are bad ass pieces of weaponry. Get it now...Yay for affordable guns!
