"I chose the UMP .45 platform because I wanted to stand out from a world of M4's and AK's. so I gravitated to a gun that seems more exotic, I saw a famas, still not good enough. I saw the UMP .45 and I have never seen one before being used so I decided to pick it up. Love at first site.

PROS:
metal outer barrel assembly
ver.3 reinforced gearbox
low price
great accuracy
definitely higher FPS than advertised.
solid feeding.

CONS:
small cheap plastic battery compartment, only cheap plastic otherwise great polymer.
non-functioning charging handle
not a rubber butt bad so that's a lie

all the cons I have, get a 9.6 it shoots BB's of death, 200 feet away I sprayed a DMR expert 17 times, not 315-330 more like 350-400. I would buy this gun. PROS outweigh the CONS by a longshot, not to mention the price!!!!

"i bought this gun over the summer ans when i got it i was happy to have it but its loud and shoots hard but the trigger respones on semi is bad it wouldnt shoot everytime when i shot it and i used a 9.6 1500 mh stick type and its very good the thing that bugs me is the chargeing handle but its not a problem and evike should have gas upms and like ump stuff and have there items in stock cause i will buy alot of stuff for my ump .

"I got this gun for my birthday and have played several matches since then. I live in South Carolina and it can get hot here, the gun still operates as it should without it getting too hot. The range on this gun is ok, same with the fps. This gun is defiantly for CQB or mid range firefights. The mag holds a good amount of bb's. The iron sights are ok but I have put a red dot sight on it. It is made out of a high quality plastic so it is very durable
Pros
-lightweight
-large mag
-good iron sights
-durable

Cons
-range is a little short
-could have a better fps

I would reccomend this gun for starter players and long time players looking for a cheaper CQB gun

"This gun is great. It really cool looking and has a lot of rails

Pros:
You Customize it
Iron sights are really good
quick change spring

Cons
Sling points are abs so they get plastered and scratched
mag doesnt feed good

NOTE: dont take off ant rails. I tried to take of the bottom rail to put on a vertical grip becuace it wouldnt slide on cuase of the front slnig points and the mag. took it off put on the grip but it wouldnt go back on cuase the whole bodys abs and got sriped really easy.

"This gun is really a lot better than i first anticipated. Although the charging handle doesn't function, it's a great airsoft gun for beginners and intermediates. Also the threading for the front sling mount was almost completely stripped but that is more of a pro for me be cause it's rather difficult to put a foregrip on that under-rail.

Pros:
Good FPS
Solid construction
The overall feel of the gun

Cons:
Non-functional charging handle
Hop-Up is a little challenging to figure out
Magazine was very difficult to figure out how to load

Overall, again, great gun.

"So far it seems like a nice little gun. Got it in the mail yesterday, went out back and shot it a bit today. FPS seems really nice, and it's very accurate. It's light... compact... basically the reason you would buy a SMG anyway. Can't wait to have a war with it

Pros
Light
Good fps
Good accuracy
Lots of rails
Sturdy; No wobbling

Cons
It's loud as sin
ROF is a bit slow

Are there ways to fix the Cons? I'm sure there usually are. A better battery for the ROF, but i dunno how to fix the loudness.

"So, i just got this gun in the mail today, and it's pretty nice. The construction, although polymer-like, is still sturdy, and it has a nice feel to it once it's in your hands. The stock is also sturdy, and when you fold it, you gain access to the compartment for the battery, which leads me to my next aspect. The description says that a battery isn't included, so i bought an 8.6v one alongside it, but when i opened the box, there was a battery inside. This confused me, but i'm not mad or disappointed at all. The gun is great, and it has a lot of rails for customization options. The clip is also plastic, but can hold a lot of BB's. In the end, i would recommend this gun to anyone who likes submachine guns or lots of customization options (like grips, sights, lasers, etc.)

"I bought this gun as well as the aluminum outer barrel with the mock suppressor. You would think I’d test fire it out of the box, but noooo. I got impatient and immediately tore off the cheap plastic outer barrel and replaced it with the aluminum attachment right away. Violation of warranty states I cannot do that and expect a refund. So anyway I fired it afterwards and the semi broke instantly. under normal circumstances I wouldn’t care, but I bought this specifically to use in an indoor field and they do not allow any full auto or burst. Really sucks. Otherwise it works great so far. The battery that comes with is a long stick type that works well, but can be trouble to pull out of the small battery compartment.

"Good gun
great (integrated) iron sights
collapsible stock
Don't feel good to hold without a grip
Extremely hard for slide-in verticle/angled foregrip
by Rafael C. on 10/27/2015
"Internals are of low quality.
Zinc alloy v3 gearbox(non-radius window)
Plastic loading nozzle(no o-ring)
Plastic piston w/ 1 metal tooth
Plastic piston head with 4 ports(
Plastic cylinder head w/ single o-ring
Non-ferrous metal bushings
Compressed powder metal gears(weak) 18:1
Aluminum full 'no ports' cylinder(doesn't make sense considering barrel is a short 205mm)
Micro-switch trigger(extremely long trigger pull)
Motor has low torque and slow rpm

The good from all this bad? It can be upgraded and repaired. But, considering this plus the not-so-durable ABS body, I feel this should be priced closer to $100

"This gun is OK. The quality of the plastic is extremely questionable. Because of the way the battery door connects in the back and the low quality plastic you can be assured that at some point it will break. If you are buying this to put another $60 of internals in because you want a UMP very badly (like me) then this is Ok. Only OK. Things like not having a rubber stock pad are frustrating and the plastic I just don't think will hold up in the long run.

That being said it doesn't weight much at all and with some upgrades will be a more than fine gun. The hicap doesn't even click into the mag well but the 110 midcaps click in perfectly. Just be aware when you purchase this what you are getting into and don't set your expectations too high.

"Fairly good gun for a while. I don't put much wear on my gear, but the bottom rail mounts are now stripped after taking it off twice. It fell of on the field, but I was able to spot it. I could superglue it, but it'd be a challenge to put anything on the bottom rail, seeing as you can't slide anything onto it.
Pros:
Cheap
Solid Feeding
FPS is low enough for CQB and high enough to use on fields.
Metal Rails
Cons:
Iron Sights too low
Polymer body is weak
Non-functioning charging handle
Only Hi-Caps
No barrel threads

All in all, it's an okay starting gun, but there are some much better options out there for SMGs.

"This was my first skirmish ready AEG and I am not too happy about it. It was good for $160 but there is just some things that could've been better.

Pros:
Sound is pretty loud, but nothing to get so excited about.
Polymer is high quality and is lightweight without being cheap.
Stock folds easily and unfolds easily.
Hop-up is easy to adjust.
Good battery compartment size.
Quick change spring system
Cons:
Charging handle does not work (minor)
Only hi-caps are made (Con to me but might not be for you)
Accuracy and range is ok
ROF isn't good for a smg.
Sights are too low for use of a mesh mask or paintball mask.
Trigger assembly and fire selector are loose.
Trigger response is ok.
Battery compartment door broke.
At first I couldn't put it back together.

I would not recommend to a guy that can't do upgrades, because there is many things to be done to this so it can be a good smg.

"Ok so when I took this gun out of the box I can till it was cheap made by looking at the sight, good weight though.
The wired for the battery department can bend easily, also the wired look cheap also.
I took it outside to shoot and the gun had trouble feeding for some reason even though the mag feels tight inside of the gun.
This gun is very sensitive just in general.

this is by far the worst SMG airsolf I've ever gotten, I might as well by a FN Herstal p90
