"this gun is great. i had mine for about a year an a half. the gears it it just stripped. i loved this gun so much that im going to get another one. but i HIGHLY HIGHLY reconmend to NOT use a lipo on this gun. even know it says that the internals are fully upgraded. you might get a couple of games out of it but then the gears will strip. so i think a good 9.6v about 2000 MAH or more would do the trick for this gun.

The only bad thing if u take of the RIS system on this MP5 the 2 little screws might strip so be careful of that. but other then that GREAT GUN. exspecialy for under $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"no it is both full and semi auto and when you charge the battery for 4 1/2 hours then use it all!!! then recharge to get the full auto to be at the top performance

Webmaster: The free battery that come with the gun is a NiCD, so yes, you want to discharge it fully before charging it fully. Recommend upgrading to a 9.6V 2300mah nun-chuck (which will fit the peq2 box included) for best performance. The RIS will work on other M4 series.

it is compatible with almost all M4A1 assesories....my gun hase a carrying handle with red dot scope, Grenade launcher a new full stock which holds my new high out put 9.6v battery....this gun went about 410 out of the box and had very nice grouping. i would give it a higher rating but i am limited to 5 stars =P

OH i wanted to ask somebody i was planning to buy a fn 2000 for CQB ... and i was planning on keepin my mp5 for long range so i wanted to get a inner barrel but have it so that it is long and increase range and accuracy and just put a barrel extension over it to keep it covered u think that will work ???
i figure if im going to buy a fn 2000 i should make my mp5 into like a mini sniper platform ... lol just let me kno ...

"Get the 9.6V 2300mah nun-chuck type battery because that is currently the highest amp nun-chuck in the world. (They sell it on this site)

Then, get a PEQ2 box that fits onto the RIS to house the battery.

The 8.4V that come with the gun will work, but its a free battery (this gun's shouldn't come with batteries to begin with in my opinion.) Use it as backup, get a 9.6V because you will thank me later. The gun shoots much smoother and better with a 9.6V since it is pre-upgraded to shoot at pretty high fps.

"i own this gun and ive had it for almost a year it is very sturdy it is completely metal.... Even down to the gear box. Out of the box mine is shooting 424 fps and probably 100 feet with a nice grouping... like i said ive had it for almost a year and had no problems with its .... This gun is espeacially good if u drop ur guns, because being that it is full metal it wont break...

Cons -
This gun is kinda loud but that is expected from a J&G gun ...
over all this gun is really good and i recommend it ....

"this gun is amazing, i had a CA m16a2 and had so many problems that i got tired of it and gave up. the only thing with this gun is that it is too powerful. i put .25 in it and it still has too much hop on it i'm going to put .28 and see how it does. but other than it is great.

"Michael, have a layer of electric tape around all your magazines. That'll help. Due to that the MP5 magazines are slim and the receiver is metal, the magazine catch is very sensitive on this gun.
