"I had this gun years and years back. It was fun to shoot but I had consistent problems with it.

Problem #1: The stock broke off and I shipped it in to get a return

Problem #2: The feeding mechanism completely broke and it eventually started collecting dust in my closet

Pros:
High fire rate
Nice weight
Inexpensive

Cons:
Feeding mechanism broke
stock broke
Seems to be somewhat low quality

"Wow this thing is complete poop. Have to hold it upside down to shoot it. Rate of fire is horrible. You get what you pay for here. I'm returning mine. Where are all these good reviews coming from for this gun lol its garbage. Sorry

"I feel dumb but does this take .2g BBs? And I just want o reccomend the Matrix MP5-PDW K because it is much stronger, accurate, and more versitile. I see no reason to get this other than as a prop.
*The MP5 is also the same size + same price*

its good but is definatley over priced.

"The gun feels good, and that is about it.

I took a chance on this one and of course I was let down. My personal advice is to never ever get an airsoft gun with unique OEM batteries and chargers. Stick to Tamiyas and Deans connections with smart chargers for your own sake.

Right out of the box, I got 10-15 shots off this gun and that was it, just enough to trick me that the gun works fine before I tuck it away until game time. The next time I tried firing, nothing happened. Battery *seems* to charge (it has never gotten even a little warm no matter how long it was left charging) and the charging light turns from red to green, implying a finished charge. I had held hope perhaps I got a dud battery and tried a new one that I ordered - another JG battery - only to yield the same results. The motor tried to run a few times, but nothing happens at all now. I would just order a new charger to see if that is the issue, but the shipping alone would be more than the charger itself and at this point I'm irritated with all the time and money I've already wasted trying to figure it out.

From what I understand, there is a way to reliably convert the battery compartment into one that accepts lipo batteries with more standard connections, but I haven't - and probably never will - try it myself, as it's hardly worth dropping another $80+ on a lipo charger, a lipo battery, AND the battery conversion components. I shouldn't *have* to do that in the first place just to get the gun to work at all.

I realize this is supposed to be a 1:1 clone of the Tokyo Marui Scorpion, and I also realize TM uses the same style of propriety batteries and chargers as this brand - however, I have yet to ever see the TM batteries and chargers in stock anywhere, or else I would have tried those out instead. At this point it's too late to care about it anyways.

Given all of this, I will opt to stay away from JG and their OEM products in the future, as well as all airsoft models that use OEM batteries and chargers and suggest others do the same. I am astonished that the reviews for this product are so consistently high, and perhaps (hopefully) I really just got a dud product. Still, that is plenty enough to deter me as I consider quality control and consistency to be very important. Airsoft is NOT a cheap enough hobby to excuse inconsistent and dysfunctional products.

"Was looking forward to getting this but sadly it came DOA. Charged the battery, gun wouldn't work. Charged it a little longer. Gun still wouldn't work. Neither in semi or full auto. Having ordered some extra batteries with it I checked to see if maybe it was a bad battery that came with the gun. Charged one of the other batteries, gun still doesn't work. Replaced the spark plug. Still doesn't work. Checked to make sure the wires were properly connected. Still doesn't work. Not even the slightest sound or movement from it, just silence.
